Ye Wudao had been keeping a watch on the man with the corner of his eye. Not long after, he saw the man slinking away alone. Ye Wudao then told Wang Shiying that he needed to use the restroom and asked her to wait for him, before quietly following the man.
The man arrived at a secluded spot, looked furtively around, and after ensuring no one was around, took out a cell phone and started making a call.
By this time, Ye Wudao had silently made his way near the man, who was entirely unaware of Ye Wudao's presence and continued talking on the phone.
Ye Wudao didn't disturb him but listened in stealth. Sure enough, his hunch was right—the red string on the seatbelt was indeed placed by the man, who also mentioned Wang Shiying's name during the call.
After making the call, the man turned to head back, only to be startled by the sudden appearance of someone behind him.
