Tang Hao was so immersed in the study of pill-making that he lost track of time.
When he put down the final jade page, he looked up and saw that it was already dawn outside.
He heaved a long sigh of relief and stood up.
He pushed the door open and walked out. At the same time, a beautiful figure came into the valley. Her white dress was stained with blood, which made for an unnerving sight.
She was startled when she saw Tang Hao. She immediately turned away and walked to her room.
"Wait!" Tang Hao stopped her. "Are you injured again?"
She stopped and stood there. "I'm fine. It's just a small injury. I've already taken the medicine," she said softly.
Tang Hao walked over and checked her wounds. There were injuries on her arms and legs, but they had all healed.
Those injuries were from fighting with ferocious beasts.
"You should be more careful!" Tang Hao cautioned her.
"Oh!" She replied softly.
