Ring ring ring!
A bell rang.
Tang Hao stood up and handed in his paper. He was the only examinee in the classroom.
It happened to be exam week a few days ago, and Tang Hao did not have the time to come for the exam. Due to his special status, the university arranged another time for him to take the exam alone.
After returning to his seat and packing his things, Tang Hao picked up his backpack and walked out.
In the corridor, he bumped into Jiang Wanying.
She seemed to have been waiting for him for a long time. "You missed the exam. Where did you go?"
"I went overseas. Something came up!" Tang Hao said.
He did not want her to worry, so he did not tell her the real reason for his absence.
"Alright!" Jiang Wanying did not continue asking. Instead, she teased, "You sure are a big shot. The dean and even the chancellor personally approved of you taking the exam alone."
Tang Hao scratched his head awkwardly.
