Chapter 6 - Mutations

Okay, I was originally just going to keep this in drafts, but whatever. If y'all come up with some mutation (do not just make them early Ultimates) you think works either genetically or thematically, leave a comment on the species name or a chapter comment and I'll consider adding it. Some of these have been pulled from scattered lore and some have been so things seen by one character in the species(like Vilgax's giant squid form) is a unique mutation. Not all transformations will have notable mutations (such as the Galvanic Mechamorphs, whose sole mutant went insane). I will update this whenever I can.

Please note that in this story, most species do not mutate anywhere near as often as Humans(that less than 1 percent difference helps in making DNA more flexible). Most transformations with bones will possess tougher bones than the rest of their respective species. All transformations will have Disease resistance. Most transformations with a muscular system will have higher than normally possible strength and agility to varying degrees.

Ignitorch

Sacred Flame/"Greek Fire" - A rare mutation. According to Pyronite legend, a rare few are born with a piece of the Spirit of Pyros. Rocks are changed to blue, and he possesses far more control over his much hotter flames.

Enhanced Terrakinesis - Rather than just the simple "Flying Platform" trick, Ignitorch can propel his flames separate from himself, allowing him to make projectile weapons out of the ground. Requires more concentration.

Petrosapien

Sonar Tunnels- His inner body is shaped in a way to greatly reduce damage done by high pitch frequency. Shifted parts will break as easily as normal Petrosapiens.

Enhanced Night Vision - A splinter group of Petrosapiens was trapped underground for several generations.

Crystal Telekinesis/Mind Over Crystal

Galvan

Greater Neuronal Density - The reason that Galvans are so smart is that there are far more neurons and such packed into their small brains, making them far more efficient. Azmuth, Albedo, and [REDACTED] all have different areas of their brain with a higher neural density than the average Galvan. Imagine these mutations balanced out in one brain.

Tetramand

Rock skin - Rougher skin that's harder to break through. Increased durability.

Tayden Bones - A Tetramand's bones are twice as durable as before.

Lepidopterran

Dragonfly Wings - Faster wings mean faster flying. Not actually shaped like a dragonfly's, though some Lepidopterrans do look like one.

Extra Arms - Two extra Arms.

Hardened Exoskeleton - He can tank hits twice as hard.

Toxic Spit - Neurotoxin in the slime spit.

Piscciss Volann

Shark Senses- Possesses a sense of smell comparable to the Terran ocean predators. Has better array of electrosensors in his head than most Volanns, letting him use it partially on land. Requires focus, but gives him a headache.

Absorbent Scales - Scales hold on to water better, allowing Fryne to last on land longer.

Ectonurite

Solar Resistance - The results of a eugenics experiment by a group of rogue Galvans. The experiment involved exposing captured generations of Ectonurites to increasingly high levels of solar radiation. This results in Ek'toc'sm being able to last far longer in the sun.

Nosedeenian

Double A - Twice the size, he can absorb the energy from other Nosedeenians.

Chimera Sui Generis

Split Arms - Kikaxx possesses the ability to split each arm into 5 tentacles, each with the strength of the average peak Chimeran's two arms. Naturally, this means the whole arm is 10 times stronger.

Ancestral Form - [DATA CORRUPTED]

Arburian Pelarota

Static Cling - Ricoshell's armor plating and fur (yes, they canonically have fur) holds onto electricity longer, letting him keep the increase in power longer.

Florauna

Bark Shift - Can harden plant matter into a treebark-like material for attack and defense.

Bigger Beans- He can selectively increase the size of the growths on his back.

Cristoreevian

Sucrotaxonite Resistance - While he does lose most of his abilities, he does not shrivel up and can still move well on his own.

Temperature Switch - Can swap his Heat Vision and Freeze Breath into Artic Vision and Plasma Breath, though this has the odd psychological effect of making him say the opposite of what he's trying to say.

Loboan

Better Hearing and Smell - Better than other Loboans, anyways.

Jagclaws - His claws are serrated, doing more damage on the way out than the way in. (What? The show was plenty dark and gruesome.)

Enhanced Lung Capacity - Better stamina, as well as longer and louder Howls.

Thep Khufan

Tightly Wound - Mummifight's bandages are less wide, more numerous, and more tightly wound, making it far harder to forcefully unravel him.

Enhanced Regeneration - Can more quickly regenerate damage than other Thep Khufans.

Transylian

Internalized Mechanics - Most of the organic electrical conductor system unique to Transylians are internalized, preventing the highly disorienting damage that can be done. Rather than a backpack, Pretorishock possesses a series of large bolts sticking out of the stitches on his arms and back.

Electrical Regeneration - Can utilize stored electricity to heal wounds.

Gourmand

Double Tongues- Twice the tongues. Can lift twice as much.

Opticoid

Protective Eyelid - A see-through membrane acting as an extra eyelid to protect the eyes.

Dense Cartilage - Argus's cartilaginous skeleton is slightly denser while still maintaining flexibility.

Splixson

Memory of Death - A Splixson with this mutation will not have a linked death- however, they will forever know the feeling of dying.

To'kustar

Tough Crest - Masiv's crest contains a larger amount of biometal, making it far harder to disorient him.

Cosmic Armor Plates - Masiv's chest and the front of his legs contain natural armor plates with a high density of cosmo-conductive biometal, allowing him to partially absorb the shock of physical attacks and cosmic rays from other To'kustars.

• Ultimate To'kustar

Cosmic Fullplate - The cosmo-conductive armor plating has spread through his torso, neck and limbs, leaving his palms and face bare. Can now absorb and redirect kinetic energy, similar to Vibranium from the MCU.

•Cosmic Energy Burst - Not-so-Gentle Giant here can expel cosmic energy from his entire body. He can expel a ton of this energy in a highly destructive mini-supernova, capable of destroying entire planets.

Conductoid

Silveroid Coils - His coils have higher amounts of silver, making them more conductive.

Self-Cloning Retainment - Retains the ability to clone himself up to Ten times.

Vaxasaurian

Stonehide - Tougher scales make it far more difficult for a Kaosseffexx Ultimasauria(more commonly referred to as a Tyrannopede) to bite through, and in fact damages the inside of their mouths.

Horns - Frontward facing horns. /For reference, look up the comic 'Tim 10'/

• Ultimate Vaxasaurian

Hypersize: 20% larger than seen on the show. (20ft -> 24ft)

Growth Retainment: Army Tank-osaur here can grow to twice his size, retaining part of his ancestral growth ability. (24 fit -> 48 ft)

Tail Projectiles: The Spikes on his club tail can be shot out like his bone missiles, exploding on impact.

Cerebrocrustacean

Higher Neural Conductivity - Whereas Galvans owe their intellect to High Neural Density, the Cerebrocrustaceans owe theirs' to the speedy transfer of information between their neurons, comparable to the speed of a lightning strike.

Enhanced Atmokinesis - While it usually takes a large group of individuals to manipulate the weather of Encephalonus IV, a rare few are able to do lower tricks by themselves. Everything's fine and dandy until the crab summons actual lightning!

Thick Legs- Allows for High Jumping ability.

Arachnichimp

Venom Spit - Similar to the green lynx spider of earth, these Arachnichimps can spit out their venom up to 50 feet with startling accuracy. Those who are not prey will only be blind for a few days rather than dead.

Venom Gland Tail - Conscious effort allows Simirachnid to add a paralytic toxin to the web he shoots out of his tail.

Blade Fangs - Simirachnid possesses twice the amount of biometal in his fangs as the average Arachnichimp.

• Ultimate Arachnichimp

Needlehair Rocket - Like the Goliath Birdeater, this Split-jawed Gorilla-from-Hell can shoot out his hair as a defense mechanism. The difference is, this Webspitting Silverback has different toxins coated on his fur, meaning it will be much worse than just an irritant. Side effects include blindness, nausea, and potential death.

Eight Limbs: Not satisfied with the titanium-strength jointed swords on his back, King Kong of Spider Jungle retains 2 extra arms for faster movement and harder hits.

Aerophibian

Interstellar Warp - An extraordinarily rare ability allowing Jetray to travel into Hyperspace to move between planets without aid of a spacecraft.

Gill Blast - An uncomfortable mutation that allows Jetray to shoot neuroshock blasts out of his gills. Still hurts you more than it hurts him.

Dragon

Silver Scales - More than just an attractive feature, the hide of these Dragons are far tougher than average, able to shrug off high-powered lasers.

Celestialsapien

Corruptura Immunity - Evolution is based on necessity. Because of this, the Celestialsapiens never evolved a natural immunity to mind control. A few Vladats managed to hit a Celestialsapien before it could decide to stop the Corruptura's influence, overriding it's personalities. This allowed the Vladats draining it's blood to become gods in a few dimensions, which in turn, led to the Celestialsapiens wiping them out in as many realities as allowed to prevent gods from being created. Unfortunately, they cannot directly influence their own minds or DNA. They can, however, influence this dimension's Omnimatrix to make this gene.

Antimana Resistance - The bombardment of Anur Vladias in countless dimensions alterred the large amounts of Corrodium, leading to the planet unintentionally becoming a field of deadly Antimana powerful enough to affect the Celestialsapiens. It takes a large group working in tandem to stave off the effects long enough to escape. A select few involved in the Vladian Genocide, however, have heightened resistance - enough to last several minutes alone directly on the planet.

Possession Immunity - Cannot be possessed by Ectonurites.

Nemuina Dust Immunity

More Agreeable Personalities - This is how the trial in the Prime Universe was even able to happen. Whilst it is not perfect, Entity's personalities are far more proactive than most.

Appoplexian

Double Claw - A rare trait resulting in there being two claws on each hand.

Refined Rage - Allows higher control of anger, resulting in higher dosage of adrenaline when Aggro lets loose, making him far stronger than other Appoplexians.

Biosovortian

Heat Resistance - Retains magnetic abilities even under high heat conditions.

Citrakayah

Heel Claw - A recent appearance in the evolutionary genepool, these retractable claws come out downwards into the ground, making it easier for Felinocity to slow down.

Prypiatosian-B

Better Suit - Not a mutation, rather an upgrade to the canon containment suit crafted by the Ultimatrix. Planchakule

Hobgoblin/Hobchakule - Twice as tall, with better muscles and bones to aid in this size increase. Planchakule are already superstrong, imagine getting punched by this guy.

Nagasapien

Mamba Speed - Can slither twice as fast as Ssserpent.

Venom Spit

Hand Shift - Can shift between snakeheads and humanoid hands.

Royal Squeeze - Tail muscles are significantly stronger.

Oryctini

Herculior - While normal Oryctini can lift 5 times their own weight, Herculiors like Kabito have legendary strength in comparison, lifting up to 29 times their own weight.

Anthonocrepitus grandictum

Rivacen - Three times faster than other Anthonocrepiti, their legs are also stronger, allowing them to stop larger plasma balls.

Vladat

Larger Membrane - Wing Membrane reaches all the way down to the wrists, allowing faster, more maneuverable flying.

Big Ears - Large, batlike ears unrestrained by his mask that improve his hearing and echolocation abilities.

Megabat - Alu KO'd's chiropteroid transformation is about the size of a Flying Fox from Earth, possessing far more strength than a standard transformation.
