[Island]
After the incident between Akito and the golem maker student of Ballad Academy, there is no further notable event that happened that day onwards. There might be skirmish of two or three from one place and another, but there was no major fight that happened at all on the scale that Akito had fought on.
With that night came unto the island as all the students present tried their best to find shelter and keep themselves safe from harm. Surprisingly on the very first day of the exam, there were no eliminated students unlike the previous years. With that, all the professors that were observing the island with their transmission magic, were surprised kn how well the students had tried to keep themselves alive on the first day.
Of course as expected each and every student has their own way to spend the night while keeping themselves safe. Some formed groups and camped out on the open area or safe area, some occupied the empty caves, some squeezed themselves inside the root house of a huge tree, some slept on top of a tree, some searched for a specific rock formation to serve as a roof, and some like Shun dug a hole on the ground and took shelter inside while making sure to cover the hole with a rock or a thick bush. With his current strength, Shun is capable to move the rock in order to make it serve as his door.
However in this island and night where everyone should conserve their energy and rest to survive, wasn't actually quite peaceful at all. In contrary to every students expectations, the night was the time where the monsters of the night reigns supreme agaisnt the monsters of the day.
With that vampiric bats emerge, parasites, leechers, wolves, huge spiders, treants, and many more which have the attribute of darkness themselves. Due to that whenever Nighy came unto the island, this night monsters power increases, as the darkness serves as a power boost towards them. With it, the night in the island is much more dangerous than the day, causing many screams and explosions to erupt all over the island.
Of course the only exception in this rule, is Shun himself who literally blocked himself out from the monsters by digging himself a hole to hide unto and a heavy door that not even the monsters could move easily.
Unfortunately one particular group wasn't having it at all, as Sephiria is literally running for her life together with Aria, Wendy, and Cedric whom she teamed up earlier on the day, away from the huge spider that is crawling towards them with its eight legs.
"Kyaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!"
With Sephiria's shriek echoing throughout the area, both Wendy and Aria had no choice but to scream together with her as they surprisingly hate arachnid monsters especially a spider of such size. One can't explain but Sephiria literally hate spiders, for her they were creepy as they can be with their mandibles and eight eyes. If a little spider is enough to scare her, one can just imagine how she panicked when she saw a huge spider that is even bigger than her.
The spider that is chasing them somewhat greatly resembles eyeless kauai cave wolf spider. This spider is the only wolf spider to completely lack eyes. It has a reddish brown to orange carapace with a pale abdomen and bright orange legs. Each leg has four pairs of short black spines and a thin coating of pale, silky hairs. The chelicera has three large teeth used for biting prey.
Even though it lacks eyes, it's huge mandibles was scary enough which can cause to run away from danger. Of course their retreat only caused the spider to notice them, after all with no eyes to serve as its sight, the spider itself learn to use Echolocation as its way to get around.
Echolocation is a biological sonar used by certain animals, such as bats, dolphins, and some species of birds and insects, to navigate and locate prey in their environment by emitting sound waves and listening for the echoes that bounce back from objects. This ability allows these animals to determine the distance, size, shape, and texture of objects, even in complete darkness or murky waters.
Since Sephiria and the groups makes a lot of noise, the spider naturally chased after them as it tried to reach its legs towards one of them.
"Kyaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! Get away! Get away! GET AWAY!!!!"
In a fit of fear Sephiria suddenly casted a spell which caused an ice wall to emerge and block the path that the spider had to take. At first this wall caused Sephiria to calm down, after all it literally separates her group from the spider that was chasing her, however that calmness was quickly shaken when she notices a pair of spider legs begun crawling above the wall, as it pulled its whole body up and chased after them.
Without rest Sephiria ran for her life once more, which caused the group to suddenly bump on a creature right in front of them. At first they were confused on who they bumper with, but the moment they opened their eyes, all color disappeared from their faces as another spider appeared before them. This time such spider resembles the black widow spider back on earth.
With that another scream echoed out on the Nighy as students literally fought for their lives.

Next morning, the students are now divided into two group per the observation of the professors of their respected academy. One group consist of students who actually slept soundly throughout the night, while the second group consist of students that barely had a wink of sleep and was tired from the night events that happened on them.
What's more since some of the students barely managed to hunt for their food on the first day, some of them are actually quite hungry and are desperate to do anything just to survive. With such mental condition, it is expected to have eliminations on the very second day of the exam.
