Chapter 263 - Chapter 263: The Effects Of The News IX

[Duke's Mansion]

Breathing heavily after using such skill, Shun wipes his mouth with his free hand, while tightening his grip on his other hand on the spear, and his eyes being on guard of his opponent.

The breath of light is truly a destructive skill, not only does it showcased its destructive capability which decimated everything, it also wasnt its full power when Shun spat out the attack. Since the charge up part only lasted for a few millisecond, the breath of light was only about 3% from its full power as Shun wasnt able to exert its peak performance.

Of course Shun took notice of this as he also agree that such attack wasnt in its gull power. But such skill could even destroy the world if it was utilized properly, naturally Shun also knew of such fact, thus the reason why he heavily restrict such an attack.

In this moment even though Shun managed to perfectly hit his opponent, he was not confident enough to acknowledge that the assassins would be done in just like that, which caused him to tense up throughout the battle.

Soon after as the dust settled down, Shun then saw a huge lump of wooden ball right in front of him, as he realized that such wooden ball had protected Muerte from the devastating attack from his breath. If it weren't for that damned wooden ball, the fight would have ended just like that, but now that it says otherwise, Shun had no choice but to continue fighting.

Without soaring a single thought, Shun sprinted forward as he sliced apart all obstacles near him using the aura of the Aquasphere, before he jumped into the air and air thrust down towards Muerte from above.

"Just die already!!!"

As Shun shouted this words in annoyance, Muerte quietly stared at him behind his hair, as he turned his rod into pointed chains and used it to wrap around his arm and form a type of chain gauntlet.

Using a chain gauntlet to deter Shun's spear attack, Muerte then pushed shun back with brute force as he grabbed the air with his fist and struck Shun straight with a punch. In response to this, Shun quickly used his spear to block the attack, which caused him yo be blown away and crash unto one of the structures in the front yard of the mansion.

While Shun was still down, Muerte suddenly blinked right above Shun as he smacked his fist towards him, forcing Shun to roll to the side and causing Muerte's fist to punch the ground itself.

Once Muerte missed his attack, Shun then quickly stood up as he swung back his spear and smacked Muerte away in just one slash.

As Muerte was stumbling across the ground from getting smacked away, Shun then took this opportunity to switched his hold unto his spear and threw the spear towards Muerte in a speed reaching mach 2. Caught off guard by such an attack Muerte then instinctively dodged the attack by quickly rolling to the side, as he looked back towards the spear's trajectory and gave leeway for Shun to close the distance between them.

Using this opportunity, Shun grabbed Muerte's clothes as he pulled him in and delivered a quick 1,2,3 punch, strike to the gut, and quick uppercut, which caused Muerte off guard and late to react to defend himself with an arm block.

The moment Muerte entered his guard, Shun then switched to attack his sides with a 1, 2, 3, 4 side punch, causing Muerte's ribs to take damage from his strikes and slightly lower his guard in front of him. Due to this, Shun quickly slid in a straight punch to the face which blew back Muerte's head, which then followed by a heavy right hook and followed by a left hook uppercut.

Lastly to finish up his combo, Shun then quickly spun around in reverse as he did a quick back spin and kicked straight towards Muerte's head with the heel of his feet. With that Muerte was snapped nack from his daze after getting punched to the face, as he used his magic to enlarge his muscles, causing him to appear to be a about twice in size in comparison to Shun.

Using its sheer size and weight, Muerte roared as he smacked down his hand towards Shun, forcing Shun to quickly slid on his its left to dodge his attack, as he called for the thrown spear back into his hand, before easily dodging the swing attack coming from muerte with an overhead jump.

With that jump alone, Shun then gripped the spear with both of his hand, as he landed unto Muerte's shoulder and stabbed down the spear with both his hands.

However the moment he did this, Muerte then instinctively turned his whole skin into a material as tough as steel, as his body blocked the attack and gave him leeway to put a protruding spikes in his back. Because of that Shun's foot got punctured by such a trick, causing him to scream in pain internally, as he didnt let go and injected a huge amount of mana unto the spear.

Grabbing the hood of his opponent, Shun grit his teeth in pure endurance as he shouted a skill before plunging the spear down in full force.

"Water Thrust!!!"

Using that skill in a position that Muerte could not even dodge, a huge explosion rung out as Shun was blasted away and Muerte having his whole left shoulder got impaled through by such an attack. Luckily for him he manage to dodge the attack at the very last moment causing the spear to be only impaled on his shoulder and not through his head.

Upon seeing this, Shun couldn't help but curse out loud, as he saw his spear missing its target from that blindspot attack alone. At the same time a grim expression appeared before Muerte's expression as he didnt expect Shun to be able to put up a fight against an opponent in his caliber.

Unknown to him, Shun already experienced a far greater danger when he was in overseas in comparison to the danger he is currently facing. For Shun, fighting a terrorist is far difficult quest in comparison to killing an assassin.

With that Muerte begun to weigh his options
