[Gritonnia Academy]
Quite intrigue in the class, Shun listened carefully towards the professor's words as he took notes in his own notebook for him to review later. Each and every words that was spoken is something that caught his attention.
"The very first person who founded origin magic and used it towards its fullest potential is the sage Richard Aleister that lived about 300 years ago... About 300 hundred years ago, the world itself is riddled with chaos magic"
"Chaos magic teaches that the essence of magic is that perceptions are conditioned by beliefs, and that the world as we perceive it can be changed by deliberately changing those beliefs. Chaos magicians subsequently treat belief as a tool, often creating their own idiosyncratic magical systems and frequently borrowing from other magical traditions, religious movements, popular culture and various strands of philosophy"
"Back then the founding figures of chaos magic believed that other occult traditions had become too religious in character. They attempted to strip away the symbolic, ritualistic, theological or otherwise ornamental aspects of these occult traditions, to leave behind a set of basic techniques that they believed to be the basis of magic."
"In order to go against such a threat, the sage Richard Aleister begun searching for solutions to fight against such magic which then end up the discovery of origin magic"
......
.........
After awhile of introduction towards Origin magic, the professor then gave out a surprising term which once more caught Shun's attention.
"Just like the basics and root under the term of origin, Origin magic contains four key elements that were honed to its maximum potential... water, earth, fire, and air. Aquasphere for water, Geostorm for earth, Pyrodrop for air, and lastly Stigma for Air... as you may all know this terms and names sounds familiar, Yes! this names are actually the name of the national treasure to some countries and hidden treasure to some forsaken ruins"
"This four elements are the basis of life, that is why such elements are categorized as origin magic... Not only were this thing treasures, but such elements also held balance in this world... Just destroy one of them, the whole world would then be deprived of such element and chaos an apocalyptic event"
In that moment the professor called out one of the names in the class and made him or her stand up to answer his question.\
"Miss Aria! please stand up"
"Sir!" replied by Aria as she stood up
"What would happen if fire, the very sole light disappear?"
"... Then we would be blanketed by darkness professor"
"Exactly! pitch black than the darkest of night! Isn't that scary? Now Barton!"
"Sir!" called out by Barton, one of Shun's classmates
"What about water? what would happen if water disappear?"
"Then the water would dry up which would cause the loss of life in both the living and the environment"
"Good! Layla! stand up"
"...."
"What about earth?"
"... I'm not sure professor, but i think the whole world would get destroyed into nothingness i guess" answered by Layla, another one of their classmate
"Plausible... and lastly will be air... Shun! stand up"
"... Death in just a matter of minute or seconds"
"Good!"
After giving out compliments, the professor turned back to his lesson and proceeded onwards. No matter what the professor itself managed to actually make all the student of his class to interact. Just by that performance, it was note worthy that such professor is highly regarded as a respectable and fun professor from then on.
*********
A few hours later, the class then finally ended as everyone was dismissed from the professors class. In fact due to how much interesting his class were, all the students who attended his class didn't notice the flow of time and were shocked that the time has passed by so easily in its class.
One of those students who were shocked with the class was Shun himself. For a person who have heightened senses, he was quite shocked that time passed by without him noticing at all. From that he can conclude that he was truly absorb by the topic, which made him disregard time.
When the break came, both Sephiria and Aria went to the cafeteria for lunch as Shun headed straight towards the library. Now that he knew the name of the other three power to acquire which was given by his system, Shun then finally had a lead and begun his trailing.
As shun begun to flip through the books, he then tried first to locate the whereabout of the geostorm. But upon searching through pages, someone interrupted him from behind as a hand landed on his shoulder.
The moment he turned around, he saw Cedric behind him and seemingly just happen to pass by him.
"What are you doing here?"
With that Shun closed the book as he returned it to the shelf, before facing Cedric.
"Nothing much! I'm just trying to look up for something in the library"
"I see... i didn't know that your quite a diligent reader, i thought fighting was all you could do"
"That... well i cant deny that.... what about you?"
Hearing Shun's questions, Cedric then answered.
"Me? nothing much! I'm just looking up at a certain magic that is comparable to the magic that is similar to what royalty's have... bloodline magic"
"Blood line magic?" asked by Shun
"Yes! also called a Family Ability or Inherited Skill) is a type of Magic that is unique to those sharing the same bloodline or ancestry. It appears that children inherit their parent's power. The power to use bloodline magic. Form of Magic. Variation of Bloodline Energy Manipulation. Related to Bloodline Inheritance and Magic Inheritance" answered by Cedric
".... Kinda complicated don't you think?"
"Not as complicated as origin magic that have been taught in your class"
".... How did you..."
"No need to ask, we will also learn it this afternoon"
After that Cedric tucked in the book that he is reading, as he turned around to leave the library. When Shun saw this, he quickly catches up to him as they walked side by side towards the exit. Even thought he was curious on the other origin type of power, he still have a lot of time himself to tackle such problem in the farther future.
