[Kingdom of Avalon, Port Side]
Arriving at a room prepared by King Hassan together with King Hendrick of the Holsteia Kingdom together with their respective wives, Both Merlin and Captain Kalego of the Elite force of the kingdom were then called into the room to discuss the incident that had completely caught everyone off guard
With all the adults inside a room of a certain building, the soldiers that were protecting the royalty's of the Kingdom then closed the door as they let them all six talk it out. Of course the young prince and princess of the Holsteia Kingdom were then naturally left out from this talk, due to its depth discussion
As the two pairs of royalty's seated on their respective chairs, they then begun asking question towards Captain Kalego regarding the attack that had ensued and shocked everyone
"Captain! What the hell is happening? who is attacking us? and why are they attacking the kingdom?" asks King Hassan
"Yes!!! I want to know the answer too, after all we were caught up in this mess" said King Hendrick
Hearing the King's question, Captain Kalego then answered
"Apparently the force that is attacking us is not the opposing kingdoms that were trying to oppose us, but in fact a cult that had been exposed and culled by the previous king to near disbandment in his own reign. It seems like this particular cult had some grudge against your deceased father and now taking its anger and revenge towards you"
"A cult that existed in the previous reign? something like that still exist? I thought father had completely gotten rid of all of them!?" reacted King Hassan
Seeing another king's reaction, king Hendrick then became curious towards the identity of the said cult
"Cult? What cult?" asks King Hendrick
"Well basically a remnant of the cult that had once been a big thing during the reign of my father, but due to my father's country reform and massive military movement, he was still able to wipe out all the existing cult that had existed since the reign of my Great- Great grandfather... this type of groups are really a headache for my family's lineage, but due to my father's work, they had somehow accomplished something that even my ancestors weren't able to accomplish" answered King Hassan
"I see... so can you guys name the remnant of the cult that had attacked us?" asks King Hendrick
"Well I'm not quite sure, after all the number of cult that my father had exterminated is quite numerous, to the point that you'll be drowned by the information of evert exterminated cult. It will take days for us to figure out which remnant of cult were the ones that attacked us, plus we don't have that time at all and don't even know what its after" said King Hendrick
"Ahem... Well i think i can share a little bit something about that..." said Merlin causing everyone to suddenly look his way and payed attention towards him
"I think the said remnant of cult has two primary objectives to the reason why it attack us..." stalled Merlin
"Speak!!!" ordered Captain Kalego
Hearing that tone of voice, Merlin then cleared his throat as he proceeded to answer
"All in all there are two objectives for this kind of an attack, First they plan on acquiring the national treasure of the Kingdom which is the Aquasphere to gain a tremendous amount of power boost from that ancient relic, and Second they plan to completely annihilate the Royal family of the kingdom as an act of revenge done to them during the previous reign of the late king... but if we put the priority label, then i can assume that the number one priority of the cult was to kill the royal family and the acquiring of the national treasure was just an icing on the top" deducted Merlin
"Their aiming for the royal family of the Kingdom of Avalon? then why did my own family got involved? Even the crown prince was completely battered up due to the attack, the same can be said towards the daughter of our kingdom's duke and its friends... In the end they were caught up in this incident" reacted King Hendrick clearly searching for a reason why they got involved in the attack
This time however Captain Kalego came to speak before them as he confidently gave out his own analysis
"I think the cult doesn't look towards the current situation of the Kingdom, for them even though their sole target were the royal family of the kingdom, they would still hurt, kill, and annihilate anyone that tries to stand their way... on other viewpoint its the same as beserkering their way in"
"That's completely irrational, such a method of an attack is equivalent to a suicide" complained King Hendrick
"Indeed! unfortunately the cult doesn't care at all as long as their objectives were met... unfortunately that didn't happen at all..." answered Captain Kalego
"???"
"Based on my observation, the person who acquired the national treasure of the kingdom had somehow started to lose control over the power of the Aquasphere in the middle of the battle, due to that they had no choice but to take an evasive retreat... Since they retreated without accomplishing their primary goal of the attack, we could say that they somehow took a huge brunt on their forces despite getting the upper hand... they didn't come out unscathed" Added Captain Kalego
Upon hearing such report everyone then became silent for a moment as they pondered over the situation, in the end however King Hassan himself broke the ice of silence as he spoke out
"Losing control over the national treasure causing them to retreat... I see... Looks like our situation isn't that bad after all, in fact we could even take this chance to form a counter attack towards the retreating cult forces, with the person wielding the aquasphere completely restrained, we could literally wipe them out"
"That's a tempting idea your majesty! Unfortunately it cant be done since our forces are also exhausted and needed time to completely recuperate and heal themselves" commented Merlin
"Is that so? I see... There's nothing we can do about it, but we cant just let this once in a lifetime chance go, Captain! I need you to gather your available forces and prepare them for a hard counter attack against the cult... we cant let the cult survive any longer or else it will come bite us back one day, we need to put an end to them as immediately as possible" ordered King Hassan
"Understood, the minimum time i could gather forces for this kind of counter attack would be three days" answered Captain Kalego
"Three days? Why not just 1 day?" asked King Hassan
"I'm afraid not, the minimum we could spend is three days... any fewer than that will then completely endanger our lives" Reasoned Captain Kalego
"I see... Then so be it"
With that order being laid out, both Merlin and Captain Kalego then immediately went out and did what they were ordered
