It was hard for me to understand what he must be going through. I could somewhat comprehend how hard it was for him—knowing that your whole life was nothing but a lie. But no matter what, it was him who was going through this all. I was merely there to keep him company. That was the only thing I could do given the circumstances.
"Why did you not tell me anything about this before?" He spoke up again, probably hoping to get an answer from me this time.
"Because I don't have a solution for this problem as of now. I merely had my suspicions." I let out a tired sigh. I was frustrated at myself for my lack of capability to help him out in this.
"Why tell me now?" He sounded a little hurt, yet he didn't allow me to let go of his arm for the briefest of moments.
