I found myself in a familiar environment as I woke up. Even though my vision was still slightly blurry, I could make out the faint outlines of the furniture. How could I not recognize the place where I had been sleeping for a few days already. It had become my own place.
"Ugh." I stretched my arms in the air as a groan escaped my lips. My body was still sore even though I was no longer tired or sleepy. Before I could push myself up, a groan resonated through the quietness of the room, leaving me flushed.
My unfocused eyes danced around the room as I tried to make sure that there was no one else who would have heard the cries of my stomach.
"Phew!" I mumbled under my breath as I realized that it was just me in there. "Let's get you up first." I pushed my upper half of the body off the bed. It took a lot of effort for me to just sit up on the bed.
Grrr!
