I was irked.
Why?
Because the person I had been waiting for so long, hadn't bothered to show up at all.
The first thing I did after getting ready in the morning was to leave a text for Colen. I wanted to keep him within my sight, not because I was falling for him again, but because I had my doubts about him, and his story.
Knowing Popsy, he wouldn't have been just teaching as a history professor in a college which was located at the end of a map, away from civilization. Or maybe, it was the very reason why Popsy had suddenly decided to pay me a visit. Nobody could say anything for sure about it all, and I wasn't someone who would easily believe the first thing which left Colen's not so detestable lips.
If he wanted me to believe his words, he had to show me at least some proof. That was the reason I had asked him to meet me during lunch time.
