Without paying much attention to the awkward glances which I was getting from my friends, I made a dash out of the cafeteria. I don't know why she was over acting about the whole matter, but there was one thing I knew for sure. I was to be blamed for it.
There was one thing which I had learnt from life. If one didn't mind owning their success, they should never hesitate in owning up to their mistakes as well. And I was about to do the same.
"Will you stop, please?" I spoke up as I jogged behind her. I could feel my bag bouncing up and down behind me, pulling back at my shoulders as I followed her steps. "We need to talk, miss." I added after seeing that she didn't plan to slow down, let alone stop.
