"You are almost there." The mysterious voice rang inside my ears once again.
Keeping my eyes shut, I continued to let my body guide me through the forest. I didn't know how, but it came easy to me. It was much easier for me to walk with my eyes closed.
"Who are you?" I couldn't help but ask out loud once again. Maybe it was my attempt to shatter the eerie silence which was lingering in the air.
"You sure are an impatient one." The reply I got only made me chuckle lightly.
"For someone who's luring me into the depths of a forest at this hour of the night, you sure have some guts to call me the impatient one." I scoffed, replying to the owner of the voice.
My voice was neither too loud, nor too low as I was expecting that she could hear me even then. True to my thoughts, she could and she did hear me quite clearly.
