"Yes, but not capable enough to handle a whole group of hunters now. Are you?"
As soon as his words entered my ears, I couldn't help but frown. I stopped struggling in his arms for a couple of seconds before turning around so that I could have a better look at his face.
"What did you just say?" I mumbled under my breath, knowing fully well that he would still be able to hear me.
"You heard me right." A nod accompanied his words while he continued to hold me in his arms. His arms were now resting on my bag instead of around my arms. "A group of hunters has managed to infiltrate this college."
"What has that got to do with me? For all we know, they could just be angel hunters." I tried to play it cool even though my thoughts were a mess.
"How can you be sure that they aren't demon hunters?" He smirked.
"Demon hunters are not common. You know that." I spat back, refusing to buy his words.
