"What took you guys this long?" I stared at the two figures who had just walked inside the room.
Without knowing exactly when, I had drifted off to my dreamland when I just wanted to close my eyes and rest for a while. It appeared that helping out Aden, did take a toll on my body as I wasn't someone who would sleep like a dead log.
I had woken up half an hour ago only to find myself in an empty room. To me, it looked like no one came inside the room after Aden left me on my own.
"Sorry, Michael got caught up into something. I hope you weren't too hungry." Aden spoke up as he made his way towards the other bed.
"Too hungry? I am famished. Because of your crazy ex, I had to skip my lunch too." I threw a glare in his direction even though he was too busy in placing the brown paper bags down to notice it.
"You did eat lunch in the cafeteria." He muttered without looking in my direction.
