'Ugh!' A groan resonated in my mind as I tried to move. It hurt. Every single fiber of my body was screaming in pain. It felt like a truck had just rammed against my body and I was left on the site to fend for myself. It was hard for me to even open my eyes. They seemed heavier than the weight my body was able to carry without shedding a single droplet of sweat.
My mind seemed to be stuck in a place where it had no control over my body. No matter how hard I tried to move myself, my body refused to listen to my mind. The only response was the pain which was coursing through my vein.
I didn't know where I was, or what I was doing. All I wanted was for the pain to go away. I could hear some voices coming from a distance, but they were too distorted for my ears to make out the words clearly.
