After hearing his story, I was more than sure that he was not as simple as he seemed to be. There was no way that his memories were not only intact, he wasn't harmed at all. I doubted that any human could make it through that unharmed.
Moreover, It wasn't one spell. He was hit by both of them. The side effects of being hit by dark and silver spells at the same time were too grave even for someone as powerful as Dana or Aden. I could have been left unharmed, but I wasn't normal to begin with. Even for a demon, I was too different than the rest of them.
"Then why didn't it work?" He questioned, turning his head towards me.
"Even I cannot provide you with an answer for that. But you sure are lucky." I gave him a faint smile.
