"Maybe it's too hard for you to believe me, but I just came to check on you. It didn't look too good from the stands. What were you guys arguing about by the way?" He mumbled as he replied to me.
Though he was using the same emotionless tone with me as before, I still had a hard time buying his words. There was no way that he of all people, would be worried about me.
"You can choose to not believe me, but I am just here as Aden's friend. If you two had a fight or even if it was just an argument, he is bound to be affected by it. That would eventually lead to a bad performance during our game which is just around the corner." He spoke up.
"That is more believable." I muttered out. If he was there for Aden, I didn't mind entertaining him for a little while. "If you don't mind me asking this. May I know why you hate me?" I mustered up the courage and continued. If I was to stay close to Aden, I had to get along with his friends too. And that included Michael as well.
