Once the phone call ended, Lin Qiao rushed to the tent that she shared with Shen Yi Nian to check on her friend.
"Nian Nian?" Lin Qiao called as she approached the tent closer. "What's going on? Are you alright?" She placed a hand on the tent's zipper, wanting to come in. "I'm coming in."
"Don't come in!" Shen Yi Nian shouted.
Lin Qiao's movement halted for a few seconds. Her brow furrowed deeper. Lin Qiao was convinced that something was wrong.
"I'm changing my clothes," Shen Yi Nian came up with a reason. "Wait until I get change."
Lin Qiao hesitated. In the end, she retracted her hand and stepped back. "Alright, don't take too long. I will wait for you outside. Nian Nian, I still want to know what happened."
Shen Yi Nian's heartbeat accelerated. It took her a while to figure out that Lin Qiao was probably talking about Qin Zhan's proposal to Gu Xin Ye.
