Gu Xin Ye inhaled a deep breath.
Blood rushed to her head all at once, making her anxious. Gu Xin Ye knew that she could not open the door to Shen Yi Nian right now as Qin Zhan was still in her apartment.
The sound of footsteps approached from behind.
Gu Xin Ye turned around and saw that Qin Zhan was walking in her direction. His presence only made her panic even more.
"What happened?" Qin Zhan whispered. He had long noticed that something seemed wrong with his girlfriend when she stood at the door without moving. His brow furrowed when Gu Xin Ye stared at him with her wide eyes.
Qin Zhan shifted his gaze to the screen beside the door and noticed that it was Gu Xin Ye's friend at the door. It was Shen Yi Nian.
"You shouldn't be here." Gu Xin Ye stretched her hands to hold Qin Zhan's arms.

The doorbell rang again, followed by a knock on her door.
