"Xin Ye? Xin Ye?"
Gu Xin Ye opened her eyes slowly and found that Qin Zhan was staring back at her. She stared at his face with a dazed look on her face, not knowing how to differentiate between a dream and reality.
Subconsciously, Gu Xin Ye stretched her hand to poke Qin Zhan's cheek. The touch startled her. She did not expect that touching him would feel so real.
"What's the matter?" Qin Zhan chuckled. He grabbed Gu Xin Ye's hand that was poking his cheek and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Why are you still in a daze? Come on. We've arrived. Let's go out."
It took Gu Xin Ye a few seconds to process Qin Zhan's words.
She looked out the window and finally saw the familiar scenery of Auntie Li's B&B.
Then, Gu Xin Ye remembered that she was accompanying Qin Zhan to Z Town. Her eyes widened. Gu Xin Ye sat up straight and realized that she had been sleeping all the way to Z Town.
