Ashlyn shook her head to get serious again.She stared at the crystals in her hand and the note.
She sighed and looked up at Conner who had also turned serious.She took a deep breath in and opened the note.
"I'll go get you some porridge."
He turned around to leave and let her read her note alone.
Ashlyn hesitated before starting to read the note that brought instant tears to her eyes.
My dear princess,
If your reading this it's because i could not be able to be by your side any longer.There is life and there is death.They are things we humans can't avoid.I promise to always protect you and wish you happiness no matter where i am.I will always be thinking of you even if am not there with you.
I know this might sound weird but you know your mother.Hah Weird is an understament for me.If some day am not there by your side i need you to promise you will always follow your dreams.Since little you lived singing and dancing and acting i just want to tell you that you should go for and never stay behind.
Even if am not there your father will always be there.He is a bit cold and aloof but trust me no matter what happens he will do anything to protect you.
Ashlyn scoffed bitterly and wiped her tears away.
I can never ask for a greater gift than have brought you here to this world.I know you will make a great mark on this planet and even before it happens i am proud of you.
I know that you would make a great heir this is why i have been forcing you into business courses even though you think it's boring.I need to make sure you will be okay before i leave.Remember to be ruthless to those who try to trample over you(not that i doubt it) you have always been pretty skilled at paying those who harm you a ten fold.
I want to be there with you and hug you but i can't.Just read this stupid letter every time you feel lonely and for whatever happens never blame yourself.

Ashlyn started crying.Her cries got louder and louder.
She was happy not sad though.She was happy she could finally feel comfort from her mother at least through a letter.Her mom's personality had always been quite unique.
Conner entered and placed the tray on the side table and ran to hug her.She didn't push him away and cried in his shoulder for what seemed like hours.
"I live you too mom...."She whispered.She wiped her tears away and smiled happily looking at the letter.
She looked up at Conner and mouthed a "Thank you."
He smiled and nodded.She sniffed and wiped her tear away.Conner chuckled."you look so ugly when you cry."
Ashlyn rolled her eyes."Don't regret your words later Mr. i happen to look the prettiest when i cry."
Conner shook his head and patted her head.Anna grabbed his wrist."Am not your pet."
"I never said that."He answered."Don't pet my head it's weird..."
"People don't just pet people's head like that."She said with a serious face."Fine."'
"Fine."She answered back.
"Your so childish."
"Heh look who's talking."
"How am i childish?" He asked.
Not being able to come up with anything she turned her face around and humphed."Get out i need some rest.....please."
He nodded but before he left he told her to eat the porridge.When he left she ate her porridge silently.She was deep in her thoughts.
She sighed and put the bowl away.She looked at the Crystals in her hand and frowned.
"So am the heir huh?"
"Interesting."
"Dear great-grandma that is a very stupid move....i might just turn this place into my personal harem with lots of handsome guys....mmm and those two cute innocent twins."
Those were the last words she said before dozing off.
