Germania
Tiberius POV
After two hours the legions were lined up in front of me.
"Are the legions ready?" I asked Garen.
He nods and responded. "The men are rested and ready to march at your command."
Nodding my head I looked towards the legions. Standing in line formations I can see it in their eyes show pride. No more doubts that I saw at the beginning of the campaign, they thought that I was too young and inexperienced to lead but now they're glad of me leading them. I led them to victories and now I see in their eyes reverence towards me. With me leading the campaign I showed them leadership worthy of my title.
Looking at the legions I nod in approval before raising my hand to signal the march.
BOOM!
Before the legions could depart we suddenly heard a loud explosion above us. Looking up I saw something that I will never forget, a purple rift can be seen at the sky above. Mouth agape I stared at the growing rift as we hear more explosions. The horses and soldiers panicked as the explosions got louder. I see Garen trying to maintain order but to no avail. The soldiers fell off of their horses as the rift got bigger while I see Darius clinging the neck of his horse trying not falling off.
I shouted commands when a bright flash of light came from above blinding everyone. Covering my eyes I felt the earth shaking before losing my balance. As my body lands on the ground I lost consciousness.
Opening my eyes, I see the bright sky. I looked around me and see my men and horses lying in the ground unconscious. I stand up and see Darius lying on the ground just besides me.
Kicking his leg I try to wake him. "Hey wake up Darius!"
Regaining conscious Darius opened his eyes and look up to me."Five more minutes"
I can feel the nerve in my head throbbing before kicking him once more. "Wake up!" I paused and shouted., "We're lost!"
Opening his eyes he finally became aware of the situation.
"Wake the others, we're sitting ducks here." I said to him as I explained our situation.
Darius stands up and walked towards the person closest to him while I survey our surroundings. Looking at the surroundings all I can see were mountains and mist.
"Where are we? This isn't Germania anymore"
I looked at my surroundings when I heard the grumblings of men waking up. The men were standing and rubbing their eyes as they too survey the area, probably thinking the same as me.
When everyone was awake I gathered the centurions as we try to make out the situation.
The centurions screamed in panic as they recalled what happened.
"What happened?"
"I remember a loud explosion! My God the rift in the sky! what was that?!
"Did Jupiter brought down his fury upon us?"
I looked at the panicking officers and try to calm them down. "No matter what happened we need to calm down first." I paused and looked around. "We don't know where we are and we don't recognize our landscapes." I point my finger towards the mountains. "I certainly don't remember any records of tall mountains like that in Germania."
Garen nods in agreement. "Yes, no mountains with that much mist exist in Germania."
Looking around I explained how we should respond. "What we need to do first is to calm the men and check our supplies." I stated. "Rally your battalions! make sure everyone is all accounted for. Darius you secure the prisoners, Garen you check the supplies."
As they left to execute my command I heard rumblings from the distance.
