I watched as Selaphiel as she worked with Raphael healing the various injuries won by atempting to fight back the darkness in earth.
Her white blue wings so much like Dantalis's it's wonder I didn't see it before. Even their eyes were the same emerald green.
I sighed no use prolonging the inevitable.
Approaching her she turned seeing the look on my face.
"What's wrong? Has something happened to Phoenix?"
I shook my head before she could get too carried away.
"Selaphiel it's not that."
I looked around at the crowded room.
"Is there somewhere we can talk."
Curious she studied my face finally shrugging her shoulders she ask Raphael to take over as she lead me to a room attached to the main infirmary.
"What is it Raziel as you can see I don't have much time to chat."
I sighed.
"There's no easy way to say this so I'm just gonna come out and say it.... you have a son."
She stared at me not saying a word then she turned angry.
"Seriously Raziel I don't have time for jokes right now don't you see what's happening."
She made to move pst me but I stopped her.
"I'm serious Selaphiel."
"I think I'd know if I had a child or not Raziel."
"Selaphiel listen to me it's true do you recall the time you disappeared two hundred and twenty three years ago."
"Well yes but-"
"You still can't remember what happened to you can you?"
She shook her head sitting down in one of the chairs.
"How long did you disappear?"
"Ten months..."
She stared at me shocked.
"Are you telling me someone managed to get me pregnant without me knowing then hid me away then managed to wipe it from my memories who would even be that powerful and for what reason?"
"The reason I don't know but as for who."
I paused unsure whether I said tell her considering my own reaction.
"Tell me Raziel I have a right to know who kept my son from me."
"It was Lucifer."
Her hand went to her mouth shocked into silence, then her wings flowed as the anger set in.
"I'll kill him."
She made to leave but I held her back.
"Let me go Raziel."
"I can't believe me I wanted to kill him when I found out too but it will break the peace. Kill him by all means but after we've saved the world."
She threw up her hands in defeat.
"Fine but when this is all over he's mine."
"Deal."
She slowed down her breathing then turned back to me.
"Who is he? My son, what's his name?"
"It's Dantalis."
She sighed.
"I should've known I always wondered why are wings liked similar. But I don't understand how could he have not known."
I preceded to tell her everything Phoenix and I had found out from Lucifer and what we had pieced together ourselves.
"I know all of this is a shock right now but I have to ask can you think of any reason why Soneillon would still your memories from Dantalis?"
She shook her head.
"Perhaps it has something to do whatever Lucifer did to me while he held me."
"Maybe. Whatever it is we need to find out it could be the key to this darkness."
She sat still in shock.
"What do I say to him? Over two hundred years he's been right there and I barely said two words to him. I don't even know my own son."
She turned to me.
"Does he know?"
"Phoenix is telling him now."
"I don't know where to go from here."
"I'd suggest just talking to him considering everything he is still your son."
She nodded.
"I'll wait we both need some time to process. Thank you Raziel."
I hugged her.
"Let's just get through this war then both of you can spend some time getting to know each other."
She nodded tears in her eyes.
I left her alone closing the door behind me. I swear to god Lucifer has a lot to answer for when this is all over.

Phoenix stood my the window looking out when I returned to our room so lost in thought she didn't even notice me til I wrapped my arms around her.
"How'd it go with Dantalis?"
She turned around to stare into my eyes wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Not good he's worried she will reject him as her son because of what's happened."
She looked away guilt in her eyes.
"I know it's not fair to you but I still care for him. I don't want to see him hurt any more then he already has, but he doesn't want my help."
I pulled her eyes back to met mine.
"None of this is your fault Phoenix if he doesn't except the choice you made then he doesn't deserve your help and as for worrying about me don't. I understand that you want to help him like it or not he is still a big part of your life. Your big heart is one of the reasons I fell in love with you in the first place."
She smiled kissing me deeply.
"Thank you for understanding Raziel."
"As long as he keeps his hands to himself we'll be fine."
She laughed punching me playfully in the stomach.
Then turned serious again.
"How'd Selaphiel take the news?"
I sighed turning to pore a drink.
"About the same as I did."
"I assume you stopped her?"
I nodded.
"You were right we can't afford to lose the fallen as allies like it or not we need them."
"Is she going to talk to Dantalis?"
"She needs time to process but yes she plans to talk to him."
I watched as she lay down on the bed seeming exhausted emotionally.
"I guess it's up to them now."
I nodded as I stared as her marvelling at how lucky I was that she choose me over her own soulmate.
She closed her eyes as sleep took over. Slowly I tucked a stray hair behind her ear kissing her lightly.
"Raziel?"
She whispered softly.
"Sleep my love I'll always be here."
She smiled before going back to sleep.
