The light returns once again, the same bright; circular pulsing light that still remains a mystery as to what it is or more to the fact of where it is.
A light that has the ability to speak somehow, but what else can it do and to what extent….no one will ever know, or at least not just yet.
"Ah, he's training again, that's very good.", said the light as it begins to talk again, but to who?
Maybe it's speaking to someone or something but does anyone really know.
"I sense that my time to awaken is near, but when will it happen?", the light says as it begins to pulsate a little bit faster than before, but before it could say anymore….darkness.
All kinds of noises can be heard as both Mac and Mr. Lou are seen sparring with each other, and with the amount of sweat that is dripping from both of them, it seems that they've been at this for quite some time now.
While Mac has had a lot of training over the past few years from Mr. Lou, he still struggles a bit with keeping up his momentum as he tries to land a strike on his sensei.
"Well done boy, now keep it up….don't you quit on me now!", yells Mr. Lou as he continues to dodge all of Mac's moves, with the occasional one hand block seeing that he has improved over the last few years.
Since they've been at it for some time now, Mr. Lou notices that Mac is starting to tire and slowdown which is normal for any human being to become exhausted after exercising for a long period of time.
So with that in mind, Mr. Lou dodges Mac's last attempts at striking him and then proceeds to hit him with the palm of his hand on his chest, which sends Mac flying backwards and hitting the ground.
"That's enough for today, take a moment to rest before leaving.", said Mr. Lou, then Mac gets up off the floor, bows to him and goes to sit down against the wall.
Mr. Lou gets a bottle of water and towel to give to Mac so that he could clean himself up a bit and rehydrate as well.
"So give it to me straight old man, have I improved?", asked Mac as he wipes his face of sweat, then proceeds to take a sip of water.
"Well no one ever improves in just a short amount of time, you should know this by now.", said Mr. Lou as he gives Mac a slight scolding.
"But in the 5 years since you've started training, I can say that….yes, you have improved,", said Mr. Lou, which doesn't surprise Mac one bit that he would give him that kind of answer, a vague one.
In the 5 years that Mac has been training, there was only one thing that stuck with him that Mr. Lou taught him….that not all martial artists learn everything, only that they just get better by practicing what they know even skillful martial artists like his sensei.
"So I know that you've taught me a lot over the years, but I have never seen you use that move before.", Mac states as he recalls to earlier after entering the studio and trying to do a surprise attack on Mr. Lou.
"You disappeared like some sort of magician and I was barely able to sense you until you got behind me.", said Mac as Mr. Lou notices how excited he is getting and knows what he is going to say next.
"Can you tea….", Mac started to say but Mr. Lou quickly interrupts him.
"NO!", shouted Mr. Lou in a firm tone only to simply discourage him for the moment.
"That move took me years to master and a tremendous amount of training before I even managed to, how did you say…."disappear like a magician".", said Mr. Lou in a strict tone, but notices the irritated expression on Mac's face.
Mr. Lou knows Mac all too well, when he gets too excited about something in his training he'll just shut him down quickly as to not get his hopes up, but does the opposite whenever he sees Mac become irritated.
"Listen Chandler, I'm only telling you this because you are not ready to learn such a move as the one you saw….however you can slowly start by taking small steps as I teach you the basic fundamentals for this move, do you understand?", said Mr. Lou as Mac begins to understand what he said moments ago.
"Yeah, I get it….so, how long did it take you to learn it?", asked Mac.
"Well let's see, I was in my prime when I first started training under a monk in the mountains near Cambodia, so….", Mr. Lou began to say as he thinks about the time it took him to learn the move.
"10 years!", said Mr. Lou with a big smile across his face, but that answer sends shivers down Mac's spine as he can only imagine training with Mr. Lou for another 10 years.
"You've got to be kidding me!", shouts Mac as he's taken by surprise to find out that it took him that long to learn one move.
"Of course, had I been more experienced at that time, it might've taken me less time to learn it.", said Mr. Lou as it now seems that he's just rubbing it in to annoy Mac in some fashion.
"Jeez old man, if you were in your prime when you first started and it took you 10 years….how old are ya?", asked Mac as he's still in disbelief but instead of getting the response that he wanted, all he got was a karate chop to the head.
"Nice try boy, but you'll never get an answer from me about my age….never!", Mr. Lou states with a slightly evil grin on his face as he's told Mac many times before to stop asking him about his age.
"Damn, thought I'd get you this time….can't blame me for trying old man.", said Mac as he gets up from the floor after the first karate chop only to receive another and land directly on his face.
"No I can't, but you can't blame me for giving you another karate chop just because you deserve it, hmm?", said Mr. Lou in a snarky tone, then he begins to laugh and walk to the stairs that lead up to his office.
Shortly after recovering from the second karate chop, Mac heads into the changing rooms to change into a pair of shorts and spare t-shirt that was meant for training but forgot to use them as he instantly started training in his school uniform and got it all dirty.
Not long after, he went upstairs to Mr. Lou's office and knocked on the door just to let him know that he was about to leave….
"Come in boy!", shouts Mr. Lou from the other side of the door, which Mac then opens and enters his office.
Mac has only been in Mr. Lou's office a few times before and not much can be said about it, he has a desk and chair located opposite from the office door but with a lot of shelves all around the office, which seems to hold many sacred items that he had obtained throughout the many places he visited.
But one such item that was different from the others was always the one that caught Mac's attention for the most part but he has never asked Mr. Lou about it, mainly because of how different it was compared to the rest of the items in his office.
This item was just a picture frame that was hanging on the wall behind his desk with what looked like an insignia within the frame, but the best way Mac could describe it was two pitchforks reflected of one another without the middle part of the fork and the letters, "OSD", inscribed in the middle.
The few times that Mac has gone into Mr. Lou's office, he would always look at this framed insignia for a few seconds and then ignore it completely, but would still manage to remember it.
"Hey Mr. Lou, I'm heading out now.", said Mac just after entering his office, but just before he could leave Mr. Lou stops him….
"Chandler, I'm sorry for being harsh on you about not teaching that move,", Mr. Lou started to say but then Mac interrupts him for a moment….
"Hang on, why do you keep calling it "The Move"….doesn't it have a name?", asked Mac. then Mr. Lou began to question himself about the name for the move.
"Hmm, you have a point but I was never told of it having a name that was specific to it, but I'll come up with one eventually.", said Mr. Lou while being slightly sarcastic about it.
"Anyways like I was going to say, I've been thinking for a moment about the move and made a decision.", Mr. Lou started to say.
"Like I said earlier, I will teach you the basic fundamentals of this move but we will not rush through it.", said Mr. Lou as he continues on….
"Although it will not take you 10 years to learn it, so after some careful considerations I've decided that I will teach you to master it….in just 2 years.", said Mr. Lou as he finishes making his proposal to Mac about learning the move.
Mac takes a moment to think about Mr. Lou's proposition as he thought to himself what he came up with to be able to say that he could master such a move in just 2 years.
"Alright I'll do it, but what's the catch?", asks Mac as he expects that there will be some sort of condition that Mr. Lou would give to him.
"Just one….no more breaks from now until you master it, that includes coming in on the weekends as well.", said Mr. Lou as he states his condition that Mac was expecting.
"Okay, for how long on each day?", asks Mac as he needs to make sure to properly plan this for the next 2 years.
"Not long, just 2 hours a day for the next 2 years.", said Mr. Lou.
Mac doesn't take too long to think about it just because he's already excited by the fact that he'll eventually get to learn the move.
"Alright, so no breaks for the next 2 years and only 2 hours a day….I think I can manage that with no problems.", says Mac as he holds back his excitement and simply shakes his hand.
"I hope you'll be ready because the training will be tough, especially since it will take less time than when I was learning it.", says Mr. Lou as he prepares Mac with what to expect.
"We start tomorrow, so just come by your usual time in the evening after I'm done with all of my other classes.", said Mr. Lou.
"Thanks Mr. Lou, you won't regret this.", Mac says as he continues to hold off his excitement.
"Sure, anyways it's getting late so you better head on home.", Mr. Lou says as he prepares to say his goodbyes to Mac and places his hand on his shoulder which he immediately gets hit by a surge of magical pressure coming from Mac.
This magical pressure was barely strong enough for Mr. Lou to notice, but not enough for him to react to as he sees that Mac hasn't noticed it.
But, if Mr. Lou is feeling this pressure already then promising Mac that he'll teach him that move is a step in the right direction.
"Alright Mr. Lou, I'll see you tomorrow.", says Mac as he leaves his office and heads for the exit as Mr. Lou watches him through the window.
Just after Mac leaves, Mr. Lou heads over to his desk and opens the top drawer and pulls out a phone then turns it on to make a phone call to what appears to be the only contact that is listed on that phone as, "Crispin".
The phone rings for a few moments and then it's answered….
"Hello?", is heard coming from Mr. Lou's phone as it seems a man has answered his call.
"Crispin….it seems that the time is upon us and Alpha will be awaking real soon, so be prepared.", Mr. Lou tells the man on the other side of the phone call.
He then hangs up the phone, turns it off and returns it to his desk drawer.
After a long day of training, Mac was just exhausted and ready to call it a night as he had plans to go see his parents tomorrow, so he wanted to go to bed as soon as possible.
Mac just arrived at his apartment, placed his things down for the time being and headed to the bathroom to take a nice cold shower, which didn't take him long as he was done in about 15 minutes.
Once he was out of the bathroom, Mac grabbed his school uniform from his bag and placed it in his laundry basket with the rest of his dirty clothes, then headed to the kitchen to make himself something to eat.
It was just barely past 8 PM when he finished eating and was relaxing in his living room watching some TV as he was flipping through channels hoping to find something good to watch before going to bed.
But seeing as TV shows and movies nowadays just seemed to bore him, he just gave up and left it on some random zombie/apocalypse type show that seemed to be the thing to watch nowadays.
After watching the show for what seemed like an eternity, Mac looks at the time and sees that it's just a bit past 9 PM and decides that it's time to head for bed, but just before he could there was a knock on his door.
"Who could it be at this hour?", Mac asks himself as he approaches the door and looks out through the peephole only to be surprised and see that it's Lucky.
Then shortly after realizing who it was, he opens the door….
"Lucky, what are you doing here so late?", asks Mac as he motions to Lucky to come inside his apartment.
He also notices that she has a bag with her and sees that something is bothering her.
"Sorry Mac, but uh….I thought we could hang out for a bit.", said Lucky, but Mac knows that it was just an excuse to hide the real reason of why she's there.
"Lucky, did you walk all the way here on your own? You do know how popular this area is for muggers, right?", says Mac with a stern voice.
"Well….", Lucky began to say but Mac intervenes.
"Eh eh, don't use your nickname as an excuse, now why are you really here?", Mac tells Lucky as he fully expects the real reason behind her late-night visit.
"Nothing ever gets by you, now does it?", says Lucky nervously as she builds up the courage to tell Mac what really happened.
"I was hoping that I could stay the night here….please?", asks Lucky as her face begins to turn red from embarrassment, while also hoping that Mac would let her.
"No.", said Mac in a calm voice.
"I'm taking you back home right now.", said Mac as he goes to grab his keys and shoes.
"The last thing I need is your parents….", Mac began to say but then notices that Lucky started to cry.
Mac hasn't seen her cry in a very long time and the last time he did was when the bullies were beating him up back in middle school when he tried to protect her and JR.
But there is only one other reason that could make her cry the way she is now, which is something that he hoped would never happen again.
"Lucille….", as Mac calls her by her actual name and then embraces her in a hug.
"Are your parents arguing again?", said Mac as he hesitates with asking Lucky that question but needed to know the truth.
Without saying a word, Lucky just nods her head which made Mac instantly changed his mind about letting her stay the night and took her into the living room for her to sit and calm down for a bit.
Just like with JR and his father, Mac had also known Lucky's parents whenever he and JR would come over to her house to hang out.
While Lucky's mother didn't mind her hanging out with Mac & JR, her father was a lot stricter about it and would usually lead them into having arguments about it.
So to avoid them from arguing, Lucky would just normally hang out with Mac & JR at either of their places instead of ever bringing them over to her house, but that hardly seemed to work as her father would always demand that she stop hanging around them, as he believed that Mac would be a bad influence on her and just seemed to despise him for who he is.
Mac never understood why Lucky's father hated him but then again, it probably had to do something with his parents but that's about all he could think of.
After Mac had sat Lucky down in the living room, he went to go get her some tissues and water and gave them to her while in the meantime he went to the guest bedroom that he had in his apartment and prepared it for Lucky to use.
"You feeling better Lucky?", asks Mac as he sees that she has stopped crying.
"Yeah….sorry for all the tears.", said Lucky with a slight chuckle which makes Mac happy to see her laugh again.
"Don't worry, I'm just glad that you're feeling better.", said Mac with a smile on his face.
While Mac has had his fair share of arguments with his own parents, those were nothing compared to the ones that Lucky's parents would have as he was a witness to one of them many years ago.
"Anyways, are you good or do you want to talk about it?", asks Mac knowing that the subject in question is always a tough one for her to talk about.
"I'm good, these arguments of theirs are nothing new but I will never get used to them.", said Lucky as she recounts to the many arguments that have occurred in the past.
"Okay, but I'm guessing that they know you came here or at least your mother knows, right?", Mac asked just to make sure they don't label her as a runaway.
"Well, I kind of ran out while they were in the middle of arguing but I did say that I was going over to a friends house.", said Lucky.
"I didn't specifically say your place but my mom knows where I'm at.", Lucky said in response to Mac's question though he didn't quite seem convinced but decided to just let it be.
"Alright, I trust that everything will be okay between you and your parents.", says Mac as he then looks at the time and notices that another hour has passed by and it is now 10:15 PM, only to realize that he needed to wake up early the next day.
"Damn, it's getting late. So I made up the guest room for you to sleep in, okay.", Mac tells Lucky as he helps her with the bag that she brought and has her follow him to the guest room.
"I hope that you'll be fine here for tonight?", says Mac as he places Lucky's bag on the bed.
"I forgot that you had a spare bedroom, for a moment I thought we going to share your bed.", Lucky said hoping to get some sort of reaction from him but in the end, it didn't work to her favor.
"Nice try, but that trick won't work on me.", says Mac as he easily catches on to her scheme, he figured that she was trying to get her revenge from earlier in the week when he tried to hook her up with JR.
"Your father already hates me, the last thing I need is for him to have a reason to try and kill me.", Mac said sarcastically which made Lucky chuckle for a bit.
"Oh stop exaggerating, my dad won't go that far….or at least I hope he won't.", said Lucky with a puzzled look on her face which doesn't help Mac one bit.
"Anyways, time for bed. I got to wake up early tomorrow so I'll be waking you up at the same time.", said Mac as he begins to leave the bedroom but Lucky stops him just for a moment.
"Thanks again Mac, for helping me out.", says Lucky as she gives him a hug.
"Yeah, no problem. I'll see you in the morning.", said Mac just as Lucky lets him go from the hug and leaves the bedroom while closing the door on the way out.
Mac then heads over to his bedroom and shuts the door then goes straight to sleep as the day has been long for him and he was really tired.
Back in the guest room shortly after Lucky had changed into her sleepwear, she lays down and tries to quickly go to sleep but her mind kept racing as so many thoughts were going through her head.
"Why did I have to get feeling for him?", Lucky thought to herself as she laid there quietly trying to fall asleep, but these thoughts of hers were not helping at all. She tossed and turned for about an hour but eventually managed to fall asleep.
The morning soon arrived and Mac was in a very deep sleep because the alarm that he had originally set up for himself to wake up didn't work as he just slept right through it.
Luckily though, he was woken up not long after the alarm turned off but by means of some really loud noises that were even louder than the alarm itself.
The sounds of metal hitting something hard had woken him up out of his deep slumber in a panic as he rushed out of his bedroom and headed for the source of the noise which seems to have come from the kitchen.
Just as he enters the kitchen, he spots Lucky standing over a pan that was on the ground and then figures out what that loud crashing noise was.
"Lucky, are you okay? What are you doing?", Mac asks Lucky as he is still trying to wake up.
"I'm sorry for waking you, didn't mean to make so much noise this early in the morning.", said Lucky as she picked up the pan from the floor.
Mac had finally woken up completely and was going to help her but instead he looks over at the clock on the stove.
"Well I'm glad you did wake me up, I must've slept through my alarm.", said Mac just as Lucky put the pan back on the stove, then she notices that Mac wasn't wearing a shirt and decides to look away.
"Hold up, what time did you wake up?", Mac asked Lucky as he notices that she's having a hard time looking at him.
"Lucky, are you okay?", he asked but then sees that she is pointing at him for some reason, so he then looks at whatever she's pointing at and then realizes that he had rushed out of his bedroom with just a pair of shorts on and no shirt on.
Since Mac lives on his own, it's normal for him to sleep without a shirt on, so just before going to sleep last night, he took off the shirt that he had on as a force of habit as he forgot that Lucky was staying the night.
While Mac isn't someone to get easily embarrassed if a girl saw him shirtless, he does forget from time to time that Lucky can get easily flustered.
"Oh, my bad. Let me go put a shirt on real quick.", said Mac as he leaves the kitchen and heads to his bedroom as it doesn't take him long to get a shirt on and return to the kitchen.
"So, back to my original question, what time did you wake up?", he asked her again.
"Well I wanted to cook you some breakfast as a, "Thank You", for letting me stay the night, but I had trouble reaching the pan from the rack that you hang them on.", as she explained to Mac.
"But as soon as I got it off the rack, I didn't realize how heavy it was so it slipped from my hands and fell on the floor.", Lucky said as she finished explaining what had occurred.
"At least you didn't hurt yourself.", said Mac
"But I'll go ahead and cook us some breakfast and after I'm taking you home, okay?", Mac tells Lucky as she nods her head in agreement.
"Alright, so any suggestion on what to eat?", he asks Lucky, then she thinks for a moment.
"Oh, can you cook up that spicy egg dish that you once told us about and said that it was really good?", asked Lucky with a bit of excitement, but Mac then looks at her in confusion.
"Really?", said Mac as he's in disbelief that she would ask for that kind of dish.
"You do remember that you can't handle spicy food too well, right?", asked Mac just to make sure that she's aware of what she is asking for.
"Yes I know, but I still want to try it out. I promise not to eat so fast that I'd burn my mouth.", said Lucky as she's fully aware of the consequences.
"Alright, don't say that I didn't warn ya.", Mac told Lucky as he began to cook the dish at her request.
Mac first learned to cook from his parents at a young age but as he got older and they got busier, he eventually had to keep teaching himself.
That's when he decided to experiment with different spices in the dishes that he would make and found out that he had the tolerance to handle it and was able to eat all kinds of spicy foods.
Not even eat the pepper itself could affect him which just amazed him, but the same cannot be said for Lucky as it has the exact opposite effect on her.
Sometime later after Mac had finally finished cooking, they were sitting at the table and Mac had begun to eat, but Lucky on the other hand was very hesitant of taking a bite of the food and he noticed that she was struggling to make the decision of whether to eat it or not.
"Dig in, it's not too hot.", said Mac as she picks up the fork and takes a big bite of the food, trying to prove that she can handle it but Mac on the other hand tries to stop her.
"No Lucky don't eat….", Mac began to say but it was too late, Lucky had eaten a big chunk of the food and then just sat there for a moment. At first nothing happened….
"See, it's not so bad.", said Lucky as she didn't feel a thing just yet.
"Lucky, I don't just use any kind of pepper on this dish, I make it with ghost peppers which is one of the hottest peppers in the world.", Mac tells her but it was already too late.
The pepper had finally taken effect and it hit Lucky so hard that she began sweating immensely.
Luckily Mac was prepared and had both milk and water ready for Lucky just incase it got too spicy for her, which he had placed in front of her just before she started to eat.
"Drink some milk, it does somewhat help in calming down the spice.", said Mac as she just keeps fanning her mouth in an attempt to cool down.
It didn't take long for the spice to calm down as Lucky was relieved to finally be done with it, so in an attempt to cheer her up Mac pulls one of his cruel jokes yet again.
"Ready for another bite?", asked Mac with a big grin across his face, but Lucky wasn't amused by it and just gave him an irritated look.
"Hey, I'm joking. Don't get so serious with me.", said Mac as he begins to laugh.
"So, are you going to finish it or do you want something else?", he asks but then he sees that she is determined to finish the dish.
"I'll finish it but I'm taking my time with it.", Lucky said as she continues to eat the food but at a slower pace.
Soon after Lucky was done eating and had gone through the entire gallon of milk just to keep the spice in check.
"Damn Lucky looks like I'm going to have to buy some more milk.", said Mac as he chuckles a bit but is amazed that she managed to eat the entire dish.
"Sorry about that, I'll owe you one but while that was good, it sure was spicy.", said Lucky as she is glad to be done with her food.
"Well, I did warn you but anyway, don't worry about the milk. I'm planning on going to the store later on so I'll get some while I'm there.", Mac tells Lucky as he begins to clean off the table and put all of the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
"Alright, time to get ready and head out. It's almost 11 AM and I want to go visit my folks for a bit.", says Mac as he heads to his room to change his clothes.
Once Lucky had recovered from all of that spiciness, she went into the guest room and gathered all of her things then waited for Mac in the living room.
While Mac was getting ready, he pulled out his cell phone and made a call to a contact that was simply labeled, "Stacy's Desk". The line then began to ring and was answer rather quickly….
"Hello, how can I direct your call.", says a woman that can be heard coming from Mac's phone.
"Hey Stacy, it's Mac.", he says as he greets the woman on the other side of the phone call.
"Oh I'm sorry, I don't know any "Mac's", but how can I help you?", says Stacy through Mac's phone.
"Really? Don't you think that joke has gotten a bit too old by now?", asked Mac with a sarcastic tone, then Stacy began to laugh for a moment.
"Yep, you have your mother's sarcasm, no doubt about it.", said Stacy through Mac's phone, as he becomes annoyed by that comment.
"Anyways, what's up?", Stacy asks Mac.
"Could you send over a car to pick me up, I'll be dropping by for a visit.", says Mac as he finishes getting ready and grabs what looks to be like a keycard out of his desk drawer and puts it in his pocket.
"Oh, I get to see my big boy today, huh?", says Stacy in a slightly flirtish tone, which just sends shivers down Mac's spine.
"How many times do I have to tell you to stop saying things like that, it just creeps me out.", said Mac as Stacy begins to laugh again.
"I'm just teasing you.", says Stacy as she continues to chuckle for a bit.
"Anyways, you want me to send the car to your apartment?", Stacy asks Mac.
"Actually, do you have my friend, Lucille's, address on record? Can you send it there?", Mac asks, then he hears tapping noises coming through his phone.
"Yeah I do, I'll send a car right over. Will it just be you?", she asks.
"Yep, just me. Thanks Stacy, I'll see you soon.", says Mac as he hangs up the phone and puts it in his pocket.
He then heads out to the living room and sees that Lucky is already waiting for him there.
"Hey, ready to go?", he asks as he grabs his keys and helps Lucky with her bag.
"Yep, onto the breach once more.", Lucky says jokingly as Mac recognizes that phrase.
"Seriously, you have got to stop quoting things from movies and games.", says Mac as they both exit the apartment and locks the door.
Mac knows that Lucky only says those kinds of phrases because of the potential storm that she's about to encounter with her parents, mainly her father.
They soon started heading over to Lucky's house which didn't take them very long, but long enough that by the time they got there, the car that Mac had requested was already there waiting.
Mac walked Lucky up to her front door and rang the bell, her mother opened the door and was glad to see that Lucky was doing okay and thanked Mac for taking care of her.
Mac gave Lucky her bag and said his goodbyes then headed to the car, he got inside and told the driver to head to the office which they soon departed from Lucky's house.
During the drive Mac pulled out his cell phone and scrolled through his contacts until he found the one labeled, "Mom's Office", as he knew that it would be best to call her there. The line started to ring for a bit but then it was answered….
"Hello, Samantha McCullen speaking.", is heard through Mac's phone.
"Hey Mom, it's me. Just letting you know that I'm on my way to the office now.", Mac tells his mother.
"Oh Chandler, thanks for letting me know, we'll be here waiting for you.", said Samantha in a very happy tone.
"I'll see y'all soon.", says Mac as he then ends the call and starts playing some music since the drive to the office was a bit long and he just wanted to relax while on the way there.
It takes about a good 20 minutes for Mac to arrive just outside the office where his parents work, most of it was from driving through the city's downtown district as the streets were crowded with other cars and people since it was the weekend.
But eventually the car arrives just outside one of the many tall buildings within the downtown district and as soon as the car came to a complete stop Mac got out and thanked the driver for the ride.
As Mac approaches the main entrance to the building, he looks over to a stone-like pillar that is located near the doors with what appears as the name of the company, "Santera Medical Headquarters".
Mac then enters the building and is greeted by the security guards located behind a large desk near the elevators.
"Good Afternoon, Mr. McCullen. How are you doing today?", asks one of the security guard as they see Mac walk by.
"C'mon guys, I told y'all don't need to be formal with me. Just call me Mac, Mr. McCullen is my father.", he said to the security guards as they always tense up when they see him.
"Anyways, I'm doing good. How about y'all?", asked Mac.
"Doing just fine Mac. Are you heading on up?", asks a security guard.
"Yes I am, and before you ask, I do have my keycard this time.", says Mac as he pulls out the keycard and shows it to the security guards.
"Alright Mac, you have yourself a good day then.", said the security guard.
"Will do, see y'all next time.", Mac tells the security guards, then he heads over to the elevators.
Mac looks for the elevator that is labeled, "CEO Access Only", goes towards it and scan the keycard on the scanner next to the elevator doors.
The elevator opens up and Mac enters it, then he presses the button to take him to the top floor where the CEO's office is located which takes about a good 45 seconds to arrive as the building is very tall and he's basically heading to very top.
Once Mac arrives at the top, he exits the elevator out into a lobby with a reception desk that is located not too far from the elevator and greets the receptionist, Stacy.
"Hey Stacy, long time since I last saw you, how are you?", said Mac as Stacy gets up from behind the desk, comes around and gives him a hug.
"Oh look how big you've grown.", says Stacy as she greets Mac with much excitement.
Stacy has known Mac ever since he was just a baby just after she started working at Santera Medical under Mac's parents as their receptionist.
"I'm doing well, how about you?", said Stacy as she finally lets him go from the hug.
"Doing good, just starting my 3rd year of high school and will be going to college pretty soon.", Mac tells Stacy as she still can't believe how big he's gotten.
The last time she saw Mac was just before he moved into his apartment a little over a year ago, but Mac was already this tall back then so he doesn't think that he's grown that much.
"So anyways, we'll catch up later okay. Is my old man in his office?", asked Mac.
"Oh yes he is, I think he just got done with a conference call when your mother went in not too long ago.", Stacy tells Mac.
"Alright well I'm heading in, we'll talk later okay?", said Mac as he heads over to a set of doors located at the end of a hallway.
These doors have two different labels, one on each door, on the left door it says, "CEO Office", and on the right door it says, "Crispin McCullen".
As Mac finally arrives at the doors, he turns the knob and opens one of the doors and steps inside….
"Hey old man.", says Mac to a man that is seen standing behind a desk, looking out the window and then proceeds to turn around and look towards Mac.
To Be Continued....
