The black Maybach stopped near a small street shop.
"Grandma" Yerin screamed with joy and ran towards an old women who was the owner of that shop. the old lady smiled at the sight of the excited girl and hugged her "My little yerin why did you visit your grandma for so long"
yerin smiled "sorry grandma, I was busy. I promise to visit you more often"
" Oh my Jonghyun has also come" the old women looked at Jonghyun who was standing a few steps behind yerin with a satisfactory expression.
Despite the fact that Yerin was an heiress of an infamous Business Empire she used to like the simple things in life. she struggled the most with her identity as an heiress, she has always dreamed of living a simple, independent and peaceful life of her own. Eating in the street shop owned by the old lady was one such simple thing she enjoyed. she was 6 years old when she once sneaked off her school to roam around the locality in her own and got lost on her way back. It was almost dark in the evening when the old lady found her crying on the road took her instantly under her shop and gave her a bowl of Jajangmyeon to eat. only then she stopped crying and felt a motherly warmth. soon her parents found her and took her home thanking the generous old lady for her kindness but that night yerin grew so fond of the old women and her Jajangmyeon that she started visiting her often. And soon after her friendship with Jonghyun she started bringing him along. It was the day she brought him there for the first time that he realised he had fallen for her.
"Grandma Jajangmyeon please!! I am starving"
Yerin was restless on her seat. "calm down girl your grandma has grown old. My hands are too slow now."
Yerin jumped out of her seat and kissed the old lady. "Leave this shop and come to my house. we will live together and you can make me tasty Jajangmyeon everyday"
Jonghyun laughed "Yerin if you eat Jajangmyeon everyday won't you get bored?"
"My dear Sunbae you are just jealous admit it! but okay I promise I will allow you to join us once every month! you see I am a generous girl" Jonghyun laughed "so generous of you Miss kim"
"My dear child you will grow up in a few years and get married I won't be able to join you for long anyway its better to live alone"
the old lady teased, Yerin flushed "grandma!!! STOP IT!! I won't marry anyone"
Jonghyun was smiling inside "I will make you mine soon Yerin" The old lady placed two bowls of Jajangmyeon on the table. Yerin spoke breaking the silent thoughts around Jonghyun's mind
"Are you coming to the Ball tonight?"
"I am not sure" Jonghyun lied.
"Sunbae you can't cheat!! you know I can't those boredom attacks from the very formal people trying to be informal around you playing with words. I will probably die without you"
"okay I will think about it" He kept lying
"S-U-N-B-A-E if you don't come I will call uncle Jeon right Now" she knew this time he can't win.
Jonghyun signed "fine I will come only if you dance with me"
" off course Mr jeon. you are my date tonight you can't expect me not to dance with you"
The old lady signed ! these youngsters these days ! she was very well aware of Jonghyun's feelings for Yerin. It will be a sad ending she thought for she knew Yerin very well.
"so....have you picked a dress yet?"
Yerin's eyes popped up in horror "oh shit! David had called me to the studio to pick up the dress. He told me to wear an exclusive dress from the latest season collection of Marvaille."
"you have enough time...lets go there once we finish"
"No lets go Now. David will probably kill me this time. Abeoji told me its important for me to wear it this time."
They got up after finishing their Bowls. Yerin hugged her grandma one last time. "My precious child eat more you are so skinny. come often my dear this lonely women missed you"
"I promise grandma I will come more often. Take care of your health don't stress up your body by overworking" with their final goodbyes both the youngsters boarded the car.
" Take me to the studio" Kim Yerin instructed the chauffeur.
"why don't you become the face of Marvaille ? rather than hiring those international models. you are capable enough"
Yerin Rolled her eyes "so many people are asking me already but you know I am not interested even if its my own family brand"

Models will die to have an endorsement with the brand or appear in the fashion magazine of the brand by the same name. Marvaille gives off a classy Vibe and its not about just good looks so even if you are the best model in the industry you may never get a chance to represent the vibe. Only A grade celebrities, socialites and influencers gets to wear that brand. even the richest socialite would have to be in the waiting list to get her hands on the dresses. Not that everyone can afford it too.
afterall it was one of the most priciest Brand of all time.
"I heard that you designed some of the exclusive dresses of the season collection? when did you get interested in designing and stuff?" Jonghyun was very curious when he heard his father talking about this matter.
"its not like I was interested into it. Its just that I saw my Eomma designing some drafts and got impressed by her skills so decided to give it a try, fortunately Eomma loved my work and things went on"
"And the dress you are wearing tonight did you designed it too?"
"yes. I have yet to see how it turned out"
Hesitatingly she got out of the car and went inside the studio where David was ready to eat her.
