Something that should never have happened, has happened.
I opened my eyes again.
There is no familiar ceiling.
No comfortable bed.
But a clear, blue sky.
I didn't feel in pain.
I didn't feel sick, despite easily overdosing.
I felt a nice, cool breeze, and a warm morning sunshine upon my face.
Without any thought, I went through the motions of getting up.
I felt the cool wind across my naked body.
Yes, my god damn naked body.
Which means, I'm not wearing any clothes.
I am not okay with this.
Where are my damn clothes?!??!?!
I look around me and all I see is forest as far as my eyes can see.
Is this heaven?
Where are everyone?
Should Uriel be giving a speech or something?
I definitely ain't a cricket. So I assume this is heaven.
It's for too nice to be hell.
And if I went through every single religion I'll never know where I am.
Looking around me I see no wildlife.
Maybe I should walk around? See what I can find?
But which way should I go?
I have no idea which way is north.
I need to have some way to keep knowledge of where I am or I will immediately get lost.
I took a random long stick, and stuck it firmly into the ground.
And there shall be shadow.
Now, if I put a rock on the tip of the shadow, and wait for it to move a little bit. I can find East & West as well as North & South.
Now lets climb up this tree and see if I can see anything.
God bless basic training.
He then swiftly climbed up the nearest tree to its top.
And there was a beautiful view of the forest laying before him.
But one thing is for sure, there are only trees at least in a several kilometer radius.
No radio towers, no telephone towers.
Absolute, and total wilderness.
"Shit" he slurred loudly.
"Anyone around here?!?!?!?!"
No response was given.
For there was no one to give it.
The trees height are too uneven as well as high. He can't see much.
There could be a house just a kilometer away. It would be buried under trees completely.
He then safely descended his tree to look at his wooden stick.
And voila, the shadow his moved.
And now, he knows from East to West, North to South.
He quickly drawn a compass with his fingers in between the rocks.
And looked at the line marking north.
Following it, he stopped at the 1st tree.
Now, I must mark this tree as north. Somehow.
He then took 2 rocks, and use one to hammer the other into the tree.
Ting, ting ting.
He made sure the rock was firmly stuck into the bark.
And now, I will know north.
He followed to the line east, and done the same with another tree.
Now, he had north & east marked.
So, now I've got this setup.
Which way should I go?
My survival is dependent on this gamble.
I need to think.
I remember a saying that river always flows south.
But isn't that highly dependent on where you are?
I know it's for sure always going down hill.
But which way is down hill?
I need to find a source of water.
I need to get lower in altitude.
To find water.
Am I really going to take a fucking gamble here?
Just walk in a random direction?
I should at least drop markings like sticks so I know my way back here.
Where the fuck am I anyways?
It's way too hot to be northern USA.
It's nice, but it makes no sense.
Fuck, what should I do?
Should I just stay here and wait if someone comes for me?
Who on earth would know I'm here?
How do I even know anyone is coming?
Earth was supposed to be destroyed. Dead. KABOOM.
How am I still here?!?!?!
"Fuck me what the hell is going on!"
I'm trying to react logically but how the fuck am I supposed to stay logical like this???
The planet was supposed to be consumed by a black hole.
A. Black. Hole.
You don't simply dodge a black hole.
No, I shouldn't think about it. I will never be able to answer this question on my own.
I need to find water. Now.
So, which direction will I go?
