"It sure is hot up here," Lycster lamented as he wiped the sweat off his brow.
He accessed his spatial storage and brought out a bottle of water. Within seconds, the bottle was empty. It had taken them three days to find a suitable location for Vy to harness the energy of the sun.
It was going well. She was in her black phoenix form, resting on a large slab of volcanic rock suspended in the air above a bubbling active volcano. They were above the cloud covers, but the heat of the bubbling magma kept temperatures high.
Dygo looked up in the sky, at Vy. He could feel the sweat stinging his eyes. He quickly rubbed his eyes and turned to Aether. The winged serpent had been in a semi-meditative state ever since Vy had begun her meditation.
"How's she doing," he asked casually.
"She's doing well," Aether replied.
