For the next few days she had spent in Matternhorn, Vy stayed huddled in the room. Lycster and Aether left to explore the village and surrounding, leaving her alone. It had been quite some time Vy had some alone time to herself.
She turned to look out of the window, watching the fresh snowfall from the clouds above. Each delicate snowflake was so tiny yet so beautifully made, as if each of them had been crafted by hand.
Blanketed in fresh snow, the children in the town came out to play. They threw snowballs at one another, built snowmen with carrots for noses, and had a great time. Vy watched on, with a small smile on her face.
"I think I need some air," she muttered to herself.
Removing the blanket she was huddled in, Vy felt a cold shiver. Even with the fire crackling in the fireplace, she could still feel the cold air. She opened the full glass balcony window and walked out into the balcony.
