Vy could not stop her mind from spiraling. All the potential reasons, outcomes swirled in her mind. What if Dygo never returned? Though he had only just re-entered her life, she could no longer picture one without him by her side.
Dygo wrapped his arms around Vy, holding her tightly. The moment they were reunited, he knew he never ever wanted to let her go ever again. But the matter at hand had to be dealt with as soon as possible.
He did not want it to disrupt their life in the future.
"I promise you, Vy, I will come back. We can keep in close contact during the time we're apart, it would be like we were never apart, to begin with."
Vy shook her head, "No, it's different. It's different from having you there."
Just then, an idea clicked in Vy's mind. She looked up at Dygo.
"What if I went with you?" Vy grabbed hold of Dygo's hand.
