Vy opened her eyes slowly, taking her time for them to adjust to the light. She could hear birds chirping in the distance. She was not sleeping alone, there was a warm familiar body next to her. When she turned to see Dygo, he was already awake and he was looking at her.
"Good morning, my love," he greeted her as he caressed her face.
"Morning," she reciprocated his greeting with a smile.
She buried her head in his chest as he wrapped his arms around her. She liked the warmth of his body next to hers. Vy did not want to move. Under the covers, both of them together, that was all she wanted.
"The sun has already invited itself into the room, maybe we should get up," Dygo declared as he tried to pull off the covers and sit up.
But Vy was having none of it. She pulled him back down and climbed on top of him as she laid her head on his chest. She purposefully did so, so that he could not move.
