The gunshot that followed echoed down the alleyway. It rang in the air, lingering long after the smoke dissipated from the muzzle.
"NOOOOO!!!!" the woman screamed in horror and agony as the man's white shirt was stained blood red.
Blood was pouring out of his wound as the man collapsed into the arms of the woman.
"No… baby, no...," the woman cried as she cupped the man's face.
She looked all around the alleyway, desperately looking for help.
"SOMEONE, ANYONE HELP! Please oh god no… no… HELP!!" she shouted for help but no one answered her call.
The attacker who shot the man was getting ready to run away but the woman did not let him go. She picked up her dagger and threw it at the man. The dagger stabbed through the attacker's calf as he screamed in agony.
