Vyrena started at Lycster in shock. She could not believe what he had just said.
"Four years?" she repeated his words.
-Yes, four years.- Aether echoed.
The rest overheard their conversation. All of them had a look of horror on their faces. All of them had been stuck in the maze longer than Vyrena. That meant the time they had lost was more than her.
Lycster could see the distraught on all of their faces. He had hoped to ease them into the news but there was no way they could have done so. The other thing that got him worried, was their health condition.
"Look, I know it's a lot to take in. But right now, we need to bring you to a safe place to rest. Your bodies are going to go through some massive changes," he said hesitantly.
"What do you mean by massive changes?" Boss asked.
"Yeah, what do you mean-" El could not even finish her sentence.
