Instantly, everyone fell silent. No one dared to continue laughing. All, except for Vyrena. Her smile was from ear to ear. She looked at the people who have her surrounded, before turning her attention back to the man who stood before her.
His rough guttural voice, the scent that emanated from his body. She knew she had the right person.
"What's your name?" Vyrena asked blatantly.
The man arched his eyebrow, "You don't need to know my name-"
"Oh I need to know," Vyrena rebuked as she folded her arms.
"What for?"
"So that I know what name I should be carving on the gravestone once I am done with you," she replied with a grin.
The man laughed maniacally, "Touché. But let's cut the chatter and dissing. I am here to recruit you."
"And I am here to offer you a small amount of mercy," Vyrena replied.
She held out her hand with her fingers pinched closely together, "That is all the mercy I have for you."
