When the ritual was complete, a warm glow of light enveloped the warrior. When it disappeared, all the flames slowly extinguished as well. The warrior was no longer in the form of a snake hybrid, he was human again.
His comrades came up to him, cheering for the success. Vy returned to her human form at once. The amount of energy it took to burn off the curse was more than she had expected. Dygo immediately rushed forward to support her.
"Are you alright?" He asked worriedly as he checked Vy's vitals.
"I'm alright, it just took a lot more energy than I had expected," Vy replied.
Aether noticed the drain in her energy too. The curse was a lot stronger than they had anticipated. Lady Lilith took it into account too. Though the method worked as intended, they would not be able to do this on a larger scale.
