"Lycster, wait up!" Marone called out to him as he ran down the hall.
It was their last day of classes before the Magic Tournament officially began in seven days. The entire institute was buzzing with life. Students were excited for the end of the school day while staff members were busy hanging up decorations.
Lycster and Marone had just finished their final class in transformation magic. Since they were a little hungry, they decided to head to the Dining Hall for a light snack. Upon entering, Lycster immediately caught sight of someone he had been trying to avoid.
Marone noticed the change of expression on his friend's face immediately.
"What luck," he lamented to Lycster, "Lex is here too."
It was as if Lex had super hearing. Because the moment Marone muttered his name, he turned around to look at the both of them. Lycster bit his lip as he avoided all forms of eye contact.
