Carole offered him an ice cream bar. They sat down on a bench in the stall and at it in silence for a while. Carole stole a couple of glances at Dygo, still in shock that the person Vy had mentioned before was here in her stall.
What were the odds?
"Is Vyrena very popular in town?" Dygo asked to break the ice before he took a bite of his ice cream bar.
Carole chuckled, "Well, she is our mayor after all so-"
Dygo did a double-take for a moment. He could not believe his ears, "She's the mayor of this town?"
"Yes, she never told you?"
"No… we have not spoken much about other things," even though he did not know how to explain their relationship.
Were they a couple? Were they even friends? Dygo realised he barely knew anything about Vyrena. All he had were the memories of a time long forgotten, a time before they both arrived in Gaeia.
"Is she currently in town? I want to meet her as soon as I can," he explained.
