Staring out of the window in his room, Lycster let out a sigh. Aurora, his Familiar, floated onto his study table and rubbed the side of her cheek on his arm.
-Are you thinking about your sister again?- she meowed.
Lycster smiled as he pet her on the head, "Yes, you know me too well."
It had been quite some time since he last heard from his sister. There were no letters that came through for him. The new communicator devices had been installed in the main office of the school compound.
This allowed students and teachers to receive messages that would then be passed on to them. Ever since those had been implemented, Lycster was even more eagerly waiting for a message from his sister.
But so far, there was none. Looking down at the book he had been reading, he flipped through a few pages. But no matter how hard he tried, he just could not concentrate on them. Lycster sighed in frustration as he laid his head down on the book.
