The receptionist handed Vy over to another member of staff who brought her through a set of beautiful wooden carved doors. Behind it, was a room fully carpeted filled with spaced-out glass cases.
The member of staff introduced themselves as Marone. Marone explained that all the unique pieces that would be on auction over the next few days were all on display in this exclusive lounge. There were waiters and waitresses going around the room with trays of drinks in their hands as well.
Vy picked up a glass of champagne and followed Marone as she gave introductions on the different items on display. But Vy was only interested in one item, the phoenix necklace. Marone brought her over to it immediately.
The closer she got, she could feel waves of emotion rushing over her. She quickened her pace as soon as Vy saw it in her line of sight.
