Within a matter of days, Vyrena was back on her feet. The other survivors recovered over the next few weeks. Those who had been stuck in the Maze for longer periods of time needed more time to fully recover from the effects of the difference in time.
To help Future Eye better understand what happened in the Maze, Vyrena told them everything she would remember. Her accounts of what happened proved pivotal as shortly after the survivors were all rescued, the Maze self-destructed on its own.
Future Eye associates did everything they could to salvage what was lost, but nothing much was left at the scene.
"Vyrena, how are you feeling today?" Zylphy asked as she brought them each a mug of hot tea.
"Good, better every day," she replied with a smile as she received the mug from Zylphy.
Zylphy nodded as she went on to ask Vyrena a series of questions. Once the list was complete, she put down the question sheet and gave Vyrena a smile.
