Vyrena returned to the campsite. She scoured for supplies in hopes of finding some form of medicine that would help with her injuries. But there were none. All she found was a roll of bandages.
The survivors had taken most of the supplies with them before they sealed up the entrance. Despite her abilities being blocked, it seems like the moonlight had a healing effect. It was healing her at a much slower rate compared to previously.
Looking at the runes that covered her arms, Vyrena cursed her situation. She tried hard to think of a solution.
Since the person who cast the spell was dead, it is likely that its effect had gravely weakened. That was evident from the slow return of her healing abilities under the moonlight.
"Maybe fire could burn off the remaining runes," she muttered to herself as she turned both arms to look at all the runes.
If her memory had served her right, there were lesser runes now then before.
