The Phases of a Kyu

Some Kyus powers wax and wane with the cycle of the moon phases. While their powers are not to be messed around with at any time, there are times in which their abilities are at its peak. 

Under a Full Moon, the element of fire for a Kyu is at its peak. A small flame about the size of an orange has enough explosive power to destroy an entire village. Some say the emotions of a Kyus also affect the intensity or temperature of the flames. 

Shapeshifting

Shapeshift is the ability for one, of any race or species, to turn into the form of either an animal or a mythical creature. They will first need to make a connection with the animal or creature in the dreamscape before they would be able to take the form. They also gain the abilities, heightened senses that come with it. 

For example, if you were crippled, when you transformed, your form will not be. You will have the full function of the form you take. 

Some human groups, such as tribes, have trained and lived for thousands of years, mastering the ability to shapeshift to be one with nature. Usually, only a selected few members of their tribe would be able to take the form of a mythical creature or master the Titan form.
