I jolt my head and peak at the fire behind me. it was almost instant that the whole house was burning. I dont even know how that is possible. I throw my whole body back and I tumble onto the road in sheer surprise and panic losing my balance. I start freaking out. I dont even know what is going on. I take my phone out of my pocket shakily and I decide to call the police and tell them there is a fire at my house.
I dial 911. and then my phone just turns off when I press 9. I keep trying to turn it back on, holding down the power button over and over but nothing. I don't even see the Samsung logo while I'm holding it. Its so weird! I dont understand it should be fully charged. all of a sudden i feel something in my head it hurts. oh shit this is what I was trying to avoid. I'm shaking and my thoughts are just racing and pounding. it hurts so bad and i can't get off the road i can't. I cant.
i lay there for awhile shaking it is extremely painful. after about 20 minutes I get up and I have a headache still, but it's not so bad to the point i cant move my body, so I bear with it and I walk down the road. I need to save our home and my neighbors. I know soon I'll be in the main part of the city if I just walk a small bit down this road and take a left. This city is rather small with an extremely low population so everything is rather tightknit. We live close to the bar and I should see my mother or somebody if I walk down the road. The population may be small but many trucks or people traveling to the beach stop by my town on the way there so I should see somebody even if it isn't my mother. I think that would give me some soft of relief.
I just hope mom isn't doing anything she'll regret, I've never headed toward the bar before while she's there because I go on walks to avoid thinking about her, avoid thinking about what she may be doing there, it's the only thing that comforts me now, but I shouldn't worry about that now I need to worry about someone putting out the fires!
I near the end of the road and then left, and still no cars, nothing. I should see tons of traffic, but it's like everyone is gone. no people, not even bugs it was dead silent. but my main priority and focus NEEDS to be on the fires I need to draw attention to myself. Well it only takes a few minutes to get to where the town is supposed to be the busiest. but just like the streets I walked are vacant. Is there some sort of event ir prank going on? no vehicles. it's an emergency I need help so I scream but no one seems to hear me.
I see the bar its across the road. I see it. a vehicle. my mom's vehicle. its Reese's!! my mother she's in there!! I have to see if shes okay!!
