Chapter 30 - Shamrock

Tristan had told the younger apprentices that he had to run to the shop for a few supplies, and that they should start dinner without him. None of them had seemed to bothered by this fact, but Absidae had given him a glance...almost as if she was terrified that he was leaving, and a bit upset about the fact as well. The look had nearly stopped the young man from doing what he had to do, but Nikkodemus was counting on him. He only smuggled them supplies when he had an abundance of ingredients; the beginning of Spring was the best time for this, as he could make a large number of potions, salves, draughts, elixirs, balms and creams. Paris hadn't explicitly told him not to do this when Nikkodmeus had first approached them, but he also told Tristan to never use his real name, always meet someone different, and that Paris himself didn't want to know what was going on.

Already waiting at the designated spot was a young man in a brown trench coat. Nikkodemus had told him to refer to the one meeting him simply as A. As Tristan approached, the young man turned towards him, and he instantly realized he was meeting yet another vampire. The green haired warlock rolled his eyes; he wasn't extremely fond of vampires. Nikkodemus seemed to be the only exception so far. "Waiting on something?" Tristan asked, the key opening phrase he gave to everyone he met for pickups.

"Just seeing if there's more than one moon," the young vampire responded; success, Tristan had found his buyer. "You're Shamrock, I assume?" The vampire inquired, raising an eyebrow. "Not a very inconspicuous code name, if you ask me."

"Like A is very creative?" The vampire shrugged, and Tristan rolled his eyes. "Payment first, then I'll give you the directions to the crates." A handed over a small purse; in return, Tristan handed him a map. They then shook hands, and parted ways.
