Gin let out a sigh of relief, even though the battle ended in a few seconds it was Gin's first life and death battle against the fellow human; It's also his first time taking a human's life.
Gin felt uncomfortable all over his body and even has the urge to vomit but he quickly came over it, remembering how evil this world was.
He soon noticed Hammer, who also ended his battle by killing the other two masked men. Gin saw one of the masked man's head was squashed while the other one had a square-shaped deep gash on his chest.
Only then Gin noticed the weapon in Hammer's hands. It's a three feet long silver Hammer with a square metalhead. It fitted perfectly in Hammer's hand.
Well, now you know where his nickname 'Hammer' came from.
'Wait, from where did this guy get the hammer? Don't tell me he also has that spatial treasure that Yirene mentioned?' Gin thought.
Relieved that Hammer is OK, Gin looked at Yirene who was still battling the masked man with a sword. As he was thinking of rushing forward to help, Hammer held him.
"Don't you see she's just playing with that masked man?" Hammer said.
"Hey, Gin, I didn't know you were this strong and powerful, capable of finishing off three masked guys without a sweat." Hammer grinned.
Actually, Hammer was surprised by Gin's combat strength as he knows his friend's strength better than anyone.
'How could he know Gin got himself an ancient legacy by fate?!'
Only then Gin noticed, Yirene is fighting in a leisurely way like she was fighting a child.
Athusa's fight drew Gin and Hammer's attention. As both of them has a similar combat strength, their fight reached a standstill.
"We have to help her," Gin said. Even though Gin wants to – facing an Advanced Ranker he wasn't certain about his victory.
"No, it's her battle to win!" Hammer strictly said.
Color drained from Clog's face, witnessing five of his members being killed by Gin and Hammer. He's clinging on to the little hope, that Kildo and other masked men will win their fight.
He already thought of running away, but the thought of confronting wild beasts on his way back made him think otherwise.
Meanwhile, Emeera and Astro watched the battle with pop-eyed.
The masked man with a sword was sweating from head to toe, he could tell the opponent is merely toying with him. He also noticed all of his companions were dead, except him.
He regrets accepting the mission, even though he was said it's risk-free. He cursed Clog a thousand times in mind.
Not wasting any more time, Yirene easily blocked and swiftly pierced his opponent's heart. When she drew her sword back, the last masked man also dropped to the ground.
"How did your strength improve this fast?" Yirene walked over and asked Gin, not able to contain her curiosity.
Unlike Gin, Yirene's didn't show any displeasure on her face for killing as if she was accustomed to taking a life.
"It's a secret," Gin said while Yirene lightly snorted.
Kildo who was furiously battling with Athusa noticed everything from the corner of his eyes.
Gritting his teeth, he pushed Athusa away with his full power attack and dashed into the towering tree-filled forest, vanishing from everyone's eyes. As Kildo escaped, no one bothered to chase him.
"Y-you bastard, Kildo, come back. Don't let me find you, otherwise, you will die a horrible death." Clog shrieked in panic.
'Who are you, people? where did you come from?' Emeera glanced at Gin, Yirene, and Hammer in trance.
She won't ever forget today's battle, the three rookie youths fighting and triumphing over seven strong Rankers.
"You guys are so strong!" Astro came over and excitedly spoke while thinking in his mind, 'I want to become as strong as my friends.'
Gin laughed.
"Bro, did you see my battle?" Hammer asked Astro.
Noticing Gin walk over, Clog was sacred, "You? Don't come close? Do you know who I am?"
Observing Gin was not sparing him any glance, he quickly said, "My father is the current president of Ageis Group, you guys better don't mess with me." Seeing Gin stopping on his track, Clog continued.
"I already sent a message and my father knows everything that happened here. If you let me go, I will ask my father to spar your lives."
"Sure, you can go," Gin spoke and swiftly destroyed the Clog's communication bracelet.
"I will give you ten seconds to get out of my sight, otherwise, I can only kill you!"
"What? No..no!" Clog bellowed noticing his communication bracelet is destroyed.
Just the thought of facing ferocious wild beasts sent a shiver down his spine. But, the cold eyes of Gin scared him even more.
Cleansing his fist, Clog tottered down the way they came.
"If I somehow survive, I won't let anyone in your group remain alive." Clog's resentful voice reached everyone's ears.
"Brother Gin, Is it ok to let him go?" Astro hesitantly asked.
"If we want to survive his retaliation, we can only get strong! But for that, he needs to stay alive." Gin smilingly said.
"Moreover, I already noticed we didn't have any signal inside the wildlands so he's just jesting, and he didn't inform his father."
"The Masked men were able to get the message thanks to short-distance communication which doesn't need any network."
'Ah!' Astro didn't foresee such an answer from Gin.
"You are crazy as always," Hammer said. He didn't fear Clog as his background is way better than the Ageis group.
Y-you guys... are you all honestly a rookie rankers who just got your ID and formed your own ranker team?" Emeera asked while Athusa also walked over.
Athusa herself is an Advanced Ranker but only she knows how much time and effort she has put in to reach this stage. This is also her first time meeting such little freaks in Silver mist region.
Actually, Gin didn't think they would easily win the fight. One of the main reasons they won is, their opponents are not highly skilled and experienced rankers.
Gin shrugged watching the surprised expressions of Emeera and Athusa. "Shall we go inside now?"
"Yes," Emeera replied.
Soon, everyone plunged into the water and as Emeera said, they found crack large enough for two people to swim.
Just as they crossed the hole, the water lowered to Gin's chest level. At first, it was pure darkness, he was only able to move with the help of light.
But after walking for a minute, the cave's top was ingrained with light blue stones, casting the entire place with light.
Everyone was stunned and watched everything before them in awe. The entire place is filled with tree roots entangling with one another, while various herbs grew on it.
As if the god itself planted the trees above to provide sufficient energy for these herbs to flourish. The entire place was filled with rich and pure energy.
But, what captivated everyone's attention was the drawings and words engraved across the entire cave.
"It's a breathing technique!" Hammer excitedly spoke. "Even better than the one I am currently practicing."
"What?!" Astro exclaimed and studied the drawings on the wall.
As Gin already has a technique of his own, it didn't arouse his interest. It's the same for Yirene too as if nothing in the world can grab her attention.
Even so, Gin studied the breathing technique; just in case it may be of use to him in the future. Within a few minutes, the entire technique was memorized by him.
What fascinated Gin is the tiny tree growing midst the medicinal herbs; Eight golden tinted enchanting fruits were hanging on it, exuding a pleasant fragrance.
"Oh my god! Every herb here is a high-grade one with rich medicinal qualities." Emeera exclaimed while Athusa also watched everything in wonder.
The herbs didn't arouse Gin's interset much. It was due to the fact, he didn't know much about the herbs.
If he knows the herbs thriving here are at least more than 500 years old, he wouldn't fix his gaze just on that eight fruits.
"I think a powerful person has meditated here, at least 500 years ago. It's also the reason why the plants here are thriving and overflowing with life." Yirene said after looking around the cave carefully.
"Yes, the person who cultivated here is called Madman Eternus," pointing his finger at the words on the wall, Hammer spoke, dejected.
"What happened?" Gin asked, noticing his disappointment. But, Yirene's expression changed a little hearing the word 'Madman Eternus'.
"This breathing technique is only suitable for peoples with spirit seal related to fire affinity. Since my spirit seal is related to metal, I can't practice it." Hammer bitterly smiled and explained.
"Don't fuss, you already have a good technique for yourself. Astro, what's your spirit seal affinity?" Yirene coldly reprimanded Hammer and asked Astro.
"M-mine is Fire affinity," Astro replied containing his excitement.
"Did anyone has a fire affinity spirit seal, here?" Yirene asked, getting no reply, she spoke, "Astro, try to memorize the technique, if not, copy it somewhere!"
Without asking any question, Astro copied the contents in a paper and carefully stored it in his backpack.
As soon as Astro copied the drawings, Yirene told everyone to move back. In her hand, a small crystal ball appeared.
She flung the crystal ball towards the drawings in the wall and backed off. When the crystal ball touched the wall, a booming noise resounded.
A white liquid splashed all over the drawings on the wall and soon, even the rocks began to melt away in places the white liquid touched.
Within ten seconds, everything on the wall has been destroyed; there were no marks or traces of any drawings ever-present here.
