Gin cast aside the unwanted thoughts and once again started to practice his combat technique.
Only when his physical body reached its limit and was no longer able to move, he came out of the training room.
After having a nice bath, he walked towards his parent's room where he usually relaxes for some time by reading books.
It's the only place in the home, which grants him a feeling of peace and comfort.
Like always, he stepped in front of the bookshelf to select an intriguing book to read.
While Gin was searching for a good book, he inadvertently pressed a book and suddenly, followed by a small creaking noise, the bookshelf moved to one side revealing a small hidden room.
Gin was surprised to see a hidden chamber in his parent's bedroom which even he doesn't know, till now.
The secret room is tiny, suitable for only two adults to fit in.
There's nothing in the hidden room that captivated Gin's attention since most of them are happened to be research papers and documents kept by his parents.
Gin's interest piqued when he noticed a dust-filled flat bronze case that looked like an antique. Even though its front lacked luster, one could see intricately carved symbols around it.
'The bronze case seems old and ancient. I reckon it's the one that both father and mother were researching before they got lost in the ancient ruin.' Gin thought as he could vaguely remember the conversation of his parents.
Only when he carefully examined, he noticed, that there are no locks or something similar as if the case is entirely sealed with no openings. Curious, Gin took it in his own hands to thoroughly investigate.
Who knows, as soon as his hands touched, the bronze case would show a reaction, alarming Gin. The symbols engraved in the case began to spin as if they were alive.
When Gin was planning to throw away the bronze case, he heard a 'Kacha' sound from it, revealing an old parchment inside it; Even though he hasn't seen any openings.
Gin gazed at the old, tattered and ancient-looking parchment with curiosity. Within the parchment, he saw a lifelike illustration of a symbol with some writings below it.
The symbol looked like a black hole embracing sun, moon, and stars within it. Gin was immediately captivated by it and his hand moved on its own to touch the parchment as if he was in a trance, to feel the life-like symbol.
As soon as his hands touched the parchment, an indescribable scene happened.
The parchment transformed into countless rainbow-colored specks and to Gin's shock, they streaked into his body.
Everything happened too quickly, before Gin's mind could even process what's happening.
In the next moment, Gin could vividly feel as if there were countless beams of glimmering lights inside his body, which then started to mingle into his every cell, muscles, and bones.
Within the next few seconds, his body returned to normal as if everything happened previously is nothing but a dream.
Before Gin could relax, a loud thunder-like sound boomed inside his head, causing his head to feel dizzy.
Before he could comprehend what's happening, he heard an ancient voice in his head,
~Before the Heaven and skies appeared—
~Before the gods overspread them all—
~The face of Nature is nothing but Chaos, Chaos, Chaos...
'-Struggle against Chaos and become Chaos-'.
The word 'chaos' echoed in his mind over and over, the ancient and majestic voice carried a form of invincible pressure; Not able to resist and bear the might of voice, Gin lost his consciousness.
Unknown to Gin, when he lost his consciousness, the ordinary bronze case before him began to twiddle.
The countless carved symbols in the bronze came alive, and soon the symbols disappeared.
After a brief moment, the plain bronze case transformed into a tiny square box, size of a fingernail and dashed into Gin's body, too.
After an unknown amount of time, Gin slowly woke up from his unconsciousness with a slight headache. The first thought that came to his mind is, 'I didn't die? I am alive!'
Realizing he was safe, Gin hastily examined himself, to find any change, except for some throbbing sensation on his chest, he did not feel anything out of the ordinary.
With a colored drained face, Gin cursed loud, "F*ck, that was some scary voice! And what's with that parchment suddenly drilling into my body?"
He then took a deep breath and calmed his madly breathing heart, only then his anxious mental state returned to normal.
A sane person when encountering such a situation will at least have some panic and fear.
Gin wondered, was everything that occurred earlier is real or not? But, the wriggling sensation in his chest and the slight headache implied that what happened is real.
Gin touched his chest where the wriggling sensation came from, and to his shock, he spotted a sun-shaped circular mark or more like a tattoo, size of his palm.
'What is this? Don't tell me it's a spirit seal!' Gin was startled by his own thought.
'No...No...It's impossible to awoke a spirit seal after the age of 10. Is it due to that ancient-looking parchment?'
At that moment, he noticed, there was some kind of foreign memory inside his mind, which is not his, for sure.
Soon, a gush of information came to his view,
"Empyrean Chaos Scripture!"
"What a stroke of luck! Never had I thought, in such a desperate situation I would obtain the legacy of an ancient cultivation technique. Hahahaha"
Gin wildly laughed, with bitter tears welling from his eyes.
He knows, what an ancient cultivation technique meant in this world? There are only a handful of extremely powerful families owns an ancient cultivation technique and stands at the peak of this world.
Even though, there wasn't any information in his mind about the symbol on his chest. Gin has reasons to believe it's not a spirit seal.
Besides, he hasn't read nor heard about anything like bestowment of spirit seal; It was stated in many ancient books that only the heavens can bestow the spirit seal to others.
Gin took a deep breath and calmed his mind. 'Everything happened because of the bronze case. If I carefully study it, I may find some clues.'
But, when he looked around he couldn't find the bronze case which bewildered Gin. Even after turning everything upside down in his parent's room, he couldn't find it.
Thinking of everything which happened, Gin concluded that the bronze case destroyed itself since it has completed its purpose of carefully keeping the parchment.
How could Gin know that the Bronze case itself is a treasure and it was currently in his body?
After a few seconds, he carefully closed his parents' bedroom and once again entered the backyard, where his training room is located.
Even though Gin is excited, he's also afraid that everything is false like the bronze case.
There's one thing that will prove everything is real, and it's the cultivation technique which he got from the foreign memory - Empyrean Chaos scripture.
The Empyrean Chaos scripture is divided into many stages and the first stage of the scripture is called Physique scripture.
What is the second stage? Even Gin doesn't know as he was only able to look into the first stage.
He doesn't care about the second stage, because the first stage itself is more than enough for Gin, right now.
Gin sat inside his training room, closed his eyes, carefully inhaled and exhaled as mentioned in the Physique Scripture.
After 5 mins, he could sense warm energy circulating inside his body and he knows it's the essence energy of heaven and earth!
Swiftly, he circulated the energy through every corner of his body as mentioned in the physique scripture.
The essence energy surged through his entire body, enriching and enhancing his every cell, muscles, and bones while brought forth a pleasant and warm sensation to his whole body.
'T-this is...What a miraculous technique! I was just cultivating for 5 mins but I could feel my entire physique has undergone a miraculous transformation.'
Gin could sense his body has undergone a wondrous transformation; Even though his strength hasn't improved much, he could feel his entire body is filled with vitality - vigorous and thriving.
Gripping his fist, which is full of power and strength, Gin punched the nearby machine which has a leather-like area in its center.
As soon as he hit the machine, 220 Kg popped up at the top of the 'hitting' machine.
Even though his strength only increased by 20 kg, the major change Gin felt came from his soul.
Like some kind of barrier has been smashed, and the former dull world became bright and beautiful in his eyes.
He is even able to remember some minute details that occurred some days back.
His six senses become more sensitive and sharp, he could even see and sense everything within a 10-meter radius.
