Chereads / Divine Seal of Chaos / Chapter 100 - Blessing of the Universe

Chapter 100 - Blessing of the Universe

Around 5 in the evening,

Gin stayed at the outer edges of the inner regions and sought magical beasts that formed 5 Elemental cores. They are the perfect sparring partners to test his strength.

Reyna saved him the trouble of seeking the right one and helped him in picking a suitable magical beast.

Only come to regret later than she set him up with the toughest magical beast. He should have known considering her character that she's isn't a generous lady.

The magical beast that Reyna selected for him is Purple-tailed wolf. This particular wolf is vastly different from its kind and they are capable of soul attacks.

Apart from the out-of-ordinary purple tail, it resembled a normal wolf: ice-grey coat, golden eyes, and gleaming teeth.

It growled, baring its teeth at Gin, showing its displeasure. It was enjoying its happy meal with its pack before it was grabbed by a strong force. In the next second, it was facing this human.

It's definitely not in a good mood.

Wolf's are intelligent than other beasts and have keen senses. But this one seems more intelligent and has already formed 5 Elemental cores.

Time to time, it gave a wary glares at Reyna and cautiously looked at Gin. As for Gin, he studied the wolf before him in shock.

He knew this particular purple-tailed wolf is very rare and capable of soul attacks. Apart from that, it's also clever and lightning attributed.

Wasting no time, he charged towards the wolf and was surprised when the latter made no move to dodge. He subconsciously wanted to stop his attack, noticing a glint in its eyes.

But it was too late. Just as he was few feet away from it, the wolf raised its purple tail and wagged it to and fro in fast motion.

Invisible ripples originated from its tail, scattering a wave crest in his direction. It looked harmless but once it sailed past him, abrupt dizziness stemmed from his soul.

It's like someone threw the rock at the unrippled lake and disrupted its harmony. Gin blanked out for a moment but that's all the wolf needed to take him down.

The purple-tailed wolf's limbs suddenly flickered with lightning and it zapped towards him. It was too fast, in a blink of an eye it appeared before Gin.

'Bang!'

The wolf rammed him in the chest, the unforeseen blow brought him out of the momentary stupor but also blasted him off the ground. He performed a graceful arc in the air before hitting the ground.

He swiftly rose to his feet and backed off a few meters, maintaining some distance off from the wolf. If it was anyone other than him in his place, they would have been beaten senseless.

Thanks to his strong physique, he escaped with just two broken bones.

"Miss Reyna, I didn't plan on fighting a beast that specializes in soul attacks. Can we find a different one, only this time, please select a normal beast?" Gin groaned holding his chest.

'I just want to test how strong I became after discovering my 12th hidden seal. Why did it come to this?' He mentally cried.

Reyna's mouth curled a little, "You need to bring everything out if you want to test your limit."

"But, I haven't learned any soul skills to ward off the soul type attacks."

It's true, he learned some soul skills but they are elementary ones. It won't save him in a fight against beings that specializes in soul attacks.

"This is where you are wrong. The white soul stage is different, it isn't as simple as the mortal soul stage.

You can do a variety of things with soul energy if you knew how to utilize them properly.

Watch this!" Reyna said. And a white translucent barrier formed before her and with a slight hand motion, it propelled forward and slammed against the wolf.

The wolf was blown away by the strike and hit the ground a few meters off from them. With a resentful expression, it rose to its four, whimpering. 'What did I do wrong to be treated this unfairly?'

It wanted to run, but the terrifying feeling emanating from Reyna made it think otherwise. It remained quiet and waited, thinking about what kind of cruel things it was going to be inflicted with.

"What did you see isn't some kind of soul skill but a perfect control of soul energy. They can be more than just attacking one's soul.

Always remember, soul energy is also a part of one's strength. You shouldn't think of soul and body as a separate entity; they are one."

Reyna explained only to see a blank look on Gin's face as if he was in some kind of trance.

'Soul and body aren't separate entities.' Reyna's words were like gongs resonating inside his head.

'Why didn't I think of that? Is it why everyone failed to discover their 13th hidden seal?' As soon as this concept came to his mind, he couldn't discard it.

'If the 13th hidden seal is really located in one's soul...' Gin pondered, but this unmindful notion shocked him to the core. 'But only this explanation answers every question.'

What he didn't expect is, as soon as this idea took root in his mind a loud bang occurred in his soul.

"What?" Gin was shocked for a moment before checking his soul.

What he uncovered is out of the world. A glowing blue barrier turned up and resided in his soul, leaving him open-mouthed. "Heavens! It really is as I thought. The 13th hidden seal is located in one's soul!"

It's not the end. As soon as the 13th seal is discovered, a shocking development took place both in his mind and in outside.

A swirling rainbow-colored beam descended from the sky and enshrouded Gin within it. The entire world turned still by the sudden heavenly change.

Every being in the world could see the rainbow-colored beam. All of them were transfixed by the shocking yet magnificent view.

As for Reyna and Zera, they were repelled by the ethereal beam and tossed meters off from Gin.

An otherworldly force tried to push them further away but a translucent blue light surged from Zera and encompassed them. Thanks to that, they were able to stop the momentum.

Before they could make sense of what's happening, a melodious chanting reverberated throughout the region, enthralling every living being.

It was like the chanting was played by heaven itself.

"What's happening?" Reyna asked, snapping out of it. None could remain cool facing such a heavenly change.

"My Goodness, Reyna, I think Gin discovered his 13th hidden seal. I couldn't think of any other reason!" Zera replied while she had a dumbstruck expression.

She was staring at the multicolor lines descending from the sky and felt the mystical energy gathering about. The superior energy is unlike anything she has encountered, even in her past life.

The ice around them was melting at a speed evident to the naked eye, green plants started sprouting from the earth and grew into tall trees within minutes.

"Is this the rumored 'Blessing of the universe' recorded in the books!" Zera muttered in disbelief but Reyna caught the words.

Unaware of such a shocking change, Gin with his eyes closed felt unique energy flooding his entire body. And a shocking transformation was taking place both in his body and mind.

His mind became clear, invigorated and his thought process has elevated to a whole new level. His strength was growing stronger every second, as every cell in his body was absorbing the unique energy.

They were like ravenous eaters starved for months. His physique was refined again and again to its most perfect state.

At the same time, the magical symbol in his chest wasn't slumbering either. It was the most greedy one, devouring the multicolored energy in chunks.

Absorbing the multicolor energy, the symbol refined them and sent out unique golden energy that spread throughout his body. They looked alive and sentient.

Within a few seconds, they united every hidden physique seal he discovered by a thin golden line and formed a pathway— a golden pathway.

At the same time, his soul was undergoing an unprecedented metamorphosis —to be precise, it's not his soul but his mind sea.
