"Dean, can't we treat the injury and prevent your strength from deteriorating further?" Gin asked. He knows if Dean Alfin's strength decline like this, he won't live for many years.
Alfin shook his head, "The expert who crippled me injured the region where my hidden seal is located— that hinders me from smoothly circling the essence energy.
Even some of the famous physicians from the Eternal Flame domain were helpless before my injury. It's untreatable."
"We have tried every method and consulted every knowledgable person on the continent but to no avail," Gildfus added in a remorseful tone.
Hearing the problem, Gin's eyes flashed. 'Maybe there's no treatment in this world, but what about in the 'Deity realm' told by the Master Windspear's thought.'
Gin thought of the Soul Strand, one of the three treasures he got in the Windspear ruin. If he seeks in it, he may find a solution. He made a mental note of it.
He will try his best to treat Dean Alfin's injury and want to see him regain his former strength.
Noticing Gin's pensive look, Dean Alfin chuckled, "Gin, you don't have to worry about me. I have experienced everything in my life, now I just want to pass my life knowledge to future generations and watch them growing up.
I think I am doing pretty well in this regard, being a teacher and Dean."
"No Dean, you have to live a long life. I will definitely find a way to cure your hidden injury and let you regain your former strength." Gin firmly spoke.
Alfin nodded his head as he doesn't want to discourage Gin with his words. He knew his condition better than anyone.
"Dean where is everyone?" Gin asked as he hasn't seen any of his senior students aside from Baste.
"All of them have gone out for a stroll, as it's their first time visiting such a big city. It's been a few hours since they went, I think they will be back in an hour." Alfin answered.
He doesn't know whether he will get any free-time after today, so Gin intended to meet his former senior students before returning to the Blue Orchid academy.
Just as Dean Alfin said, all of them—Zev, Nyd, Klin, Meylin, Drez, Nixa—came back around seven in the evening.
They were happy to see Gin and was also relieved at the same time that nothing happened to him.
Gin was happy to see his former senior students. Even though he interacted with them only for a few days, he felt closer to them.
He chatted with them for a few minutes, but none of them spoke the topic of him offending the Silver Dragon domain or blamed him for his actions.
"I am sorry guys, I am made you all run for your lives." Gin apologized.
"What are you saying Little Gin? I was feeling grateful that you offended such a big power." Meylin mentioned, baffling Gin.
"It's true. If not for that, Dean wouldn't have brought us to the Starlight city and we couldn't have joined one of the top three academies of the Human Continent -- Rising Dragon academy." Meylin grinned while Drez and Nixa nodded their head.
As for Zev, Nyd, and Klin, they were discussing how big and amazing the Starlight city is, compared to the Silver mist region.
Gin smiled listening to their reasoning, while he also agreed with Meylin on this one. They wouldn't have got the opportunity to study in such academy, if for his actions forcing Dean Alfin to flee to this place.
Just looking at the heartfelt and sparkling expression on their faces, Gin knows they aren't lying for his sake.
At around 8,
Unlike before, the long table was now filled with various mouth-watering dishes and the aromatic smell of meats pervaded the entire hall.
All of them occupied a seat in the long table, while Dean Alfin, Gildfus, and Baste also joined in; there were chatter, laughs, bickerings of Zev, Nyd, and Klin.
It was a satisfying dinner, and the dishes were also fairly delicious. It's understandable since Springwoods is one of the famous hotels in Starlight city.
Most importantly, the reason why they were able to occupy and afford such a private house inside the Springwood hotel is because of the middle-aged man Gildfus as he's the owner of this place.
Gin decided to rest here for a night and return to the Blue Orchid academy in the early morning.
====
Blue Orchid Academy,
Around 5 in the evening, a wizened old man with a back slightly hunched arrived and stood outside of the academy entrance. He looked feeble, as though a puff of wind could blow him down.
He had a long, grey goatee that reached his chest. But none of the students who were going in and out of the academy was able to sense his presence.
After what seemed like a minute, a woman who looked around thirty adorned in blue clothing came out of the academy; fair-skin, long blue hair, and amiable face. The word 'beauty' is not enough to describe her.
"Truly an unexpected visitor! Protector Clif of the Silver Dragon domain, what's your reason for coming to the Blue Orcid academy?" The lady asked, her voice was soft but vehement.
She radiated an aura of a leader and a strong bearing that shame many men. Even though she looked gentle, only someone of her equal footing would realize her strong presence.
She's the current Dean of the Blur Orchid academy, Ameya Rose; Luna's mother, and Reyna's stepmother.
One of the peak experts of the Human continent. A strong and powerful lady, who reached the level of Half-step Transcendent.
"Dean Rose. I came to meet Lady Moon. I was tasked to clear the minor misunderstanding that happened due to Mesryth's wrong choice of words." Old man Clif spoke in a neutral tone.
"What's a minor misunderstanding? His grandson targeting our academy student or how he spoke to me." a voice traveled from distant and the figure of Reyna soon appeared.
Some of the students in the close proximity recognized their Dean and Lady Moon. They were shocked and also astonished at the same time, as these two are the pillar of their academy.
In normal times, a student may graduate without seeing their Dean, not to say about the mysterious and elusive Lady Moon.
Among the crowd of shocked students, there's Adrin and his two friends. They didn't expect to encounter such legendary figures just as they were leaving the academy to visit a famous nightclub.
Even though he met Lady Moon yesterday, he was so scared at that time fearing he may offend her if he takes a glimpse at her beautiful figure
It's all because of his Elder brother, who told many terrifying things about Reyna Moon. His brother first met Lady Reyna when they were just Physique enrichment practitioners and he fell in love with her ever since that day.
What his brother didn't expect is, Lady Reyna's strength soaring from weak to strong within a few years. Even before he could confess his love, she became an expert that none can approach.
That didn't stop his love, as he still loves Lady Moon from the bottom of his heart even though his strength is nowhere near her. He planned to confess his love once he destroys his last hidden seal.
Adrin hasn't seen anyone working harder than his brother and it's also the reason why his brother was able to destroy his 5th hidden seal a few days prior.
No one can deny the fact that his brother is a genius, as he was able to reach this stage before the age of 30, a feat only a selected few can accomplish.
It's just compared to Lady Moon's shocking achievements, his brother is another ordinary youth.
Adrin joined the Blue Orchid academy under his brother's instruction and the reason he follows Luna all day along like a puppy is also because of his request.
On the other hand, the conversation between Reyna and Old man Clif heated.
"Don't think you guys can kill anyone as you please and do as you fit just because your domain accumulated some transcended-grade weapons and treasures.
It's all the same in my eyes."
As she finished the sentence, a pressure transcending the grade of mortals crushed down upon Old man cliff, rendering him immobile.
Beads of perspiration accumulated on his forehead, while a terrified expression appeared on his face.
He was afraid...frightened he would truly die. Before he arrived here, he didn't think of such a possibility because he was confident in his 'Inherent spirit skill' that helps him leave any place as he pleases.
But now, he couldn't even activate the skill before he was bound by some strange force and the worst thing is, he couldn't even circulate his essence energy much less initiate his skill.
'Did she reach the level of a transcendent? No...her body didn't exude that special energy distinct to the Transcendent.'
