Man of Darkness

I was once a young innocent lad who lived in a small village on the outskirts of the kingdom of Hamalot. It was a peaceful village for the most part because we were on the outskirts there were a few demons but they were usually just demon dogs or wolves so nothing to bad. I even had a child hood friend her name was Emily. She was a bit adventuress but she was also pretty. Her family couldn't afford much so she wore plain brown clothes. Now that I think of it the hole village whore clothes like that. Anyway she had black hair, nice white skin, and her right eye was blue and her left was green which is very uncommon to have different colored eyes but hers were gorgeous. For fun we would often times go play in the forest. We played things such as who could climb up trees faster and we raced a lot anything that we could to get the sweat release of boredom. One day whiles we were in the forest we climbed up what seemed to be the biggest tree in the forest and there was a huge number of demons coming down from the mountain and not just demon wolves but also much stronger creatures such as giant spiders witch have enough poison one bite would kill a grown man instantly, ghouls witch are a pain to fight because only holy magic can hurt them no mater how many times you swing your sword they will still get up, giants the size of trees and they can cause the ground to shake when they slam there hands and feet on the ground, and a tone more. So we rushed down in a panic and told our parents we were only but 6 and 7 at the time so we were terrified beyond belief. My parents told the chief and we gather has a group and split of the woman and children went into the cellar and the capable men grabbed what they could to defend it. Unfortunately they were all the men were killed demons even managed to opened up the cellar and killed about half the women and a quarter of the children before a garrison showed up we had sent a messenger to tell the closest city but it still took them about a day or so to get to us so most of us had been killed by then but the garrison did kill the demons. After they killed them though they then released that half the women and most of the children were alive. Although with no men left alive they deemed us useless and took us to the city to be slaves.
