The tense air at the party eventually died down, with most of the guests leaving. Some would call it an unsuccessful party that ended halfway through the night, but there were going to be many more attempts for a proper event.
The only ones that stayed were the closest allies of Fishy, the Druids and Rynad.
"So what is your explanation?" Erven asked.
"It's nothing complex. Lilith is a vampire who I saved, and she saved my life. Since then we've been protecting each other."
"I see…"
"But there is more to it, right?" Clara said as she could feel a slight silence in Fishy's heart, one that was avoiding the topic.
"It's complicated…" Fishy said as he sat down on a nearby chair to rest. "Right now we have a lot going on… and I don't know how much of it all is linked."
"What do you mean?" Ziu asked.
"I fear the church of the hero is involved with Lilith."
